   *Date of visit* 30th December 2025 I visit here regularly and once again they nearly tried to overcharge me when trying to buy clothes. This is the second time I was nearly overcharged from here - it happened around a year ago as well. I bought two t-shirts, 2 for £17, which was correct when at the till but was also going to buy some jeans; it had on the clothing rack '2 for £70' but when attempting to pay for them, the staff nearly charged me them as individuals; one of them apparently was £57 alone! When pointing the signage out, they still tried to make out there was nothing they could do, and when scanning, they weren't part of the 2 for £70 apparently - when it clearly said it on the signage. I wasn't going to buy them but one of the pairs were part of the sales for £30 so bought one of the pairs as opposed to both of them. They didn't fit so returned them the next day and replaced them with another pair with no problems.

   Was in Speke retail park store today looking for some Christmas presents. Was amazed how friendly the staff were at this store in helping buy my purchases. They were more than helpful and friendly. It was a lovely experience to shop there. They went above and beyond to assist and advise me. Thank you so much Andrew and Lucy.

   I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with my recent experience at Speke sports direct During my visit, I was met with bad customer service, which significantly impacted my shopping experience. Upon arriving at the female shoe area, I found that there was no staff available to assist me. When a staff member was eventually located and asked for a shoe size, they responded in an unprofessional manner, complaining about their tasks rather than attending to my needs. I was left waiting for an unacceptable amount of time, exceeding 30 minutes, without any adequate support or assistance. I hope that you will address these issues to improve the overall customer experience in your store. Honestly don’t come here.

   The worst experience I’ve ever had in a store. I do not recommend Sports Direct at all and honestly hope it gets shut down one day because of the disrespectful staff. There is no real manager — when you ask for one, an employee just claims to be the manager, and you’re left not knowing who’s actually in charge. This happened to me at the Sports Direct branch on Speke Road, and it was truly a horrible experience. Avoid this place.

   I purchased two tee shirts today at Speke Retail paying cash but one didn't fit (tee shirts were same brand and same size) upon returning (a few hours later) they didn't have my size. I opted for a different tee shirt which resulted in a small refund to be paid. I was told that they do not refund and that if I accepted the credit note then I am unable to raise a complaint. I believe that this store is going against consumer rights. This could be a significant issue if the customer had spent a lot of money for an item and was unable to find something they would want to exchange for. Complete disrespect of their customers and using bullying language to pressurise the customer to accept their very poor returns policy.

   Spend around 20min for the staff to grab me my shoe size and when she returned she gave me a different model much more expensive that the one I asked for. Trying to fool people like that... shame... Wasting my time!

   I wisit this store sometimes and bought a coat for myself today, always look under staffed and the most of the staff who works there miserable and rude , they act like they don't want to be there . If you r not enjoying to work there just quit. People don't need your miserableness in their life.

   Stressful and confusing - I left Sports Direct today wishing I hadn't entered their store. Almost everything has an offer, but many of them are "not mix & match, applies to this product only" which even applies to different colours of the same product. It's ridiculous. Some prices differ when scanned at the till and the games section is separate - items from there can't be paid at other tills (and vice versa), which means waiting in a queue twice and items not counting to Black Friday spend offers. I walked out feeling stressed and annoyed. They could do better, but I think that's their business model.

   The shop itself was as expected however I bought a dress for my daughter which didn't fit. Brought it back the next day yo be told . NO RETURNS. Shocking really in this day and age. Exchange or credit note only.

   I love to have a look in this store when I visit the speke retail park. As the store is located on the speke retail park there are plenty of parking spots around including disabled parking right outside the store entrance. There are also plenty of other stores available on the site. I enjoy having a look around the store for shoes and clothing. The store is filled with sports items from top to bottom. Even the walls are filled with items. The store has two floors that separate the men's and woman's section, with a huge football section. Theres an escalator going upstairs but only stairs coming down. There are plenty of full priced items and sale items through out the store but you will have to spend time looking to find them. I often find the store quite and understaffed. There is a few time I have wanted to find a pair of shoes in my size and it has took me a while to find a staff member to speak with. Once you find someone they are friendly and happy to help.
