Just got my car back from clutch being done very shady job wouldn't recommend to anyone cut wires air box hanging off unbelievable workmanship don't know how they run a garage like this
dave seems a nice guy but not a good mechanic he had my van 7 weeks but could not solve the problem but charged me £650 for trying van came back exactly the same as it went in not good wont use again ( update) van went to a different mechanic was sorted for £200 avoid this garage unless you want to waste time and money tenterfields garage is the worst garage ive ever used dont make the same exspensive mistake i made and stay clear i find it quite worrying that someone who claims to be a mechanic but has not got a clue (his words)can charge £650 for achieving nothing
Was sent to have my broken locking nut removed which the guy at the tyre place had broken, so when Dick Turpin at this garage charged me £40 for changing 4 locking nuts (a 10 minute job) , (I could have changed 3 myself) I thought I was part of a sting operation between the two garages. Shame really as Im on the lookout for a decent garage as I have a lot of work to be done on another car but God knows how much tenterfield would charge for actual mechanical work if he charge that for changing locking nuts
I've been going to them since i got my first car and can't recommend them enough fair prices grate people and always get the job done i'd recommend them to anyone and all my family and friends

Great service and ran me home whilst work was being done and picked me up when it was ready to collect.
Well I rang the owner up and told him my car had run out of test . He said bring it down tomorrow about 10 so I took it down and I asked him to look at the brakes he said ok can you pick it up tomorrow well we didnt need the car as my partner as one and we are both retired so I said it's ok 2 days later I had forgot to go the day after so no problem I went to pick the car up he said he had to put all new brakes in as they had got rusty ( I did say the car had only done 400 miles last year) and he said your dash board as rattling he sorted all out for me i asked him for the bill well he said i shall ring you up with it sometime a typical mechanics attitude manyana the message I want to put it out is he is a 1st class mechanic laid back and very helpful
