   This is my first time ever at a salon. Braces myself before booking because the price can be daunting at first but when I walked in I was welcomed with a drink and warm welcoming . Was a shock at first but eventually settled in. I had Kay as my stylist and she was amazing. Although due to my nerves I may or may not have talked her to death lol. But she was a real vibe and styled me very well. Will 100% be coming back in 3 months for the maintenance cut and will be with kay again. She was amazing . In general the salon is very well kept very cozy and overall just a wonderful experience .

   Ellesha did such a great job with my hair. She was very informative and told me step by step what she was doing. She explained everything well and gained a good understanding of my hair goals and routine to give me exactly what I was looking for. She was positive that my hair can be what I envisioned, with enough TLC. She was very friendly, professional and hospitable. The whole salon is a vibe! My hair was in good hands and I'll definitely be back. Thank you so much!

   Had the best haircut of my life here with Danny. Genuinely so happy with the results, he added shape to my hair and gave me tips on how to look after it. Included a before and after. Everyone at the salon was so kind and it was a really fun experience. I will definitely be returning!

   If I could give 10 stars I would. I had a brilliant experience with Alesha, I had done everything you can do to destroy my hair and curls but I didn’t feel judged by her, she was incredibly positive and skilled and gave me hope that I could restore my hair to its former length and volume. The entire process was so relaxing. I’ve had curly cuts elsewhere many years ago but I’ve never felt so chilled as I did today. I also have a lot of hair and the process was incredibly quick from start to finish. I’m so happy and immediately booked my next appointment for 4 months time. Danny has created a lovely inclusive environment and I’m so pleased to be a curly cut girl again after a long absence!

   After being with the same hairdresser for 20 years, I was very nervous to try someone new. I went to Danny purely based on these reviews, and I was absolutely thrilled with my decision. I have been trying to go back to my natural waves and stop heat styling my hair and ruining it. Danny took great time and care explaining how the cut and styling techniques could achieve this for me. The atmosphere in the salon is so lovely, relaxing and friendly. I even managed to have a gluten free beer on a Friday evening. Those special touches really do make visiting this salon a great experience. I am thrilled to have found Danny and am also looking forward to trying some of Lizzie's beauty services. I cannot recommend Strand and Lock highly enough for anyone looking for some general TLC and an amazing transformation. Thank you so much and can't wait to come again :-)

   I booked my apt last minute as I had heard great reviews about this place. I really didn't know what I wanted when I went in, so was looking for some advice on my curly hair that I've never really known how to style! Danny spent a lot of time advising me on what would work well for my hair. He talked me through each step from the cut, to washing it and what products to use and how best to style it. I can honestly say that I've never had this level of advice and help with my hair. I left feeling great and loving my hair. Danny was also honest in advising how to best look after my hair in future I.e not washing hair too frequently, hair products and not needing to have it Cut that regular. I was also given a card with the steps that were used on my hair to help me maintain at home. Danny was also very friendly and made me feel comfortable. Would defo recommend to anyone.    I have a lot of hair and was in there for 6 hours! When I started panicking that I would be late picking my son up Danny and Brook worked really hard together to get me done in time, Thank You so much. Definitely the best cut and colour I’ve ever had. Love the style, after years of constantly wearing my long hair in a mum bun it is now in a much more manageable style that I can wear down. Brook really took his time to colour my hair carefully, I am so happy with the colour it’s just what I was after and has given my hair a new lease of life. Fantastic place and really knowledgeable staff who clearly know their stuff when it comes to curly hair. Think I’ve definitely found my new hair salon, I will definitely be going back. Thanks again guys :)

   I really enjoyed having my hair cut by Danny. It was the first time I'd visited the salon and I was not disappointed. I was made to feel very comfortable whilst waiting, as I was very early, and had a cuppa and a cuddle with Polly the dog. Danny talked me through what he was doing and checking in with me all throughout the cut giving me great tips along the way. I'm so pleased with the cut. It feels fantastic too. I'll definitely be back.
