    I went to the White City store and tried on a pair of shoes. I wanted to buy them, but they were defective. Since I really wanted them, I ordered them from the website and chose click and collect from the Portobello store. When I went to pick them up, I checked them and realised they were the same defective shoes I had tried on at the White City store. The staff at the Portobello store told me to go to the Covent Garden store because they showed availability there. So I went, but when I arrived, the staff member told me that they first needed to process a refund and then I would have to buy the shoes again. I said okay. However, the price there was £70, while I originally bought them for £55. She told me that the price had changed, and I explained that it wasn’t my fault — they had sent me a defective product. My purchase was never completed, and on top of that, I lost both time and money because I had to pay for the tube to go to Covent Garden and back. This is unacceptable.

    I visited the shop today for returning a pair of shoes I bought 2 days ago in a different branch in London and which sadly did not fit properly. The shop clerk refused to refund the money as according to him items in sale (Black Friday sale in this case) can only be exchanged. I told him that when I bought the shoes I expressly asked if I could return them and get a refund and they said yes. He said you will have to dispute this with the shop assistant who sold me the shoes in first place. I went to the original branch and got them refunded straightaway, no question asked. One hour of my time wasted for no clear reason......

    Great customer service. The colour I wanted to try wasn't in stock but the team were instantly able to tell me which shops (+ online) did have them, and find other colours of the same style for me to try. Friendly, knowledgeable and no hard sell.
