   Went here today looking for shoes for my child. One guy was dealing with a customer so I asked for help by saying,'Hello?', noone answered, storeroom door was open so asked in there, to no answer, so went in and saw a female assistant hiding!! guy in the shop became available but was very unhelpful, didn't offer to help, didn't offer to see if he could find requested shoes or order them. Won't be going back here.

   Based on my experience you today (26th August 2024) I will not be returning to the store. The woman who was measuring feet for the right size was rather abrasive , cold and had an attitude. She was also rude to her staff!! (2 young girls; I felt very sorry for them. I do not recommend this store. Pity, as we used to like buying our shoes locally.

   I'll start by saying that if I wanted parenting advice, I'd go to someone qualified to offer this and not someone who is helping me measure my sons feet in Clarks. Perhaps your staff should refrain from telling a mother to be "more firm" with their child like their own daughter is with her child because its totally uncalled for. Perhaps your staff need more training in sensory needs when it comes to keeping shoes on a child. It's very common for autistic children to find socks and shoes irritating and uncomfortable. Plus, he is 15 months old. This doesn't mean a parent is not being firm, more adapting the the child's needs. So in future, please don't dismiss what a parent is telling you and direct the conversation to what you think is best (being more firm) because not all parents are lazy and unresponsive to their children, especially me. I agree that boundaries are needed but I don't need to hear this in Clarks. Do better!

   Totally recommend this store. Realised this afternoon my son's school shoes had fallen apart so we needed to urgently get some new ones and arrived just 15 minutes before closing time. Leah was great and could not have been more helpful finding us the perfect shoes Excellent customer service.

   My first visit to buy . I have a knee/foot issue and needed some 'orthopedic' type shoes. The assistant was extremely helpful as well as knowledgeable, she had the patience of a saint! I left with 2 pairs of comfortable and suitable shoes. Will definitely go back when I need more shoes.

   We have a 5-year old boy and he has had many pairs of shoes from here over the last few years. The staff are always polite and helpful and the manager always remembers him right down to his shoes size. They they order stuff in and they will ring me and let me know when it arrives so that I can come and pick it up which is great.

   I will try to put into words how lovely and friendly all staff are at this shop. Especially the store manager Shiva. They go out of their way to make sure that the footwear you require is the best. Shiva helped me find the best walking boots .

   Recently visited and received really good customer service from a lady called Debbie, it was very busy in the shop but she wasn't flustered and was polite and very thorough checking what was available in store and advising us to get measured. Five star service from Debbie.

   My last couple of visits there have been disappointing. The dark haired lady ( manager I assume) is rather rude. I asked questions about school shoes and wellies and she went to the back room and sent someone else to ask if I needed help - felt very uncomfortable and left. Will not be returning.

   I used to love shopping here, ladies were lovely and helpful. Now just young girls that couldn't care less and just want to stand at the till chatting. Waited 5 minutes , not a smile, nod or ask to help so I walked out and spent my money elsewhere. Very sad, won't shop there again
