Chipped my tooth on Thursday afternoon and Bupa Dental along with Dr. Dutt’s expertise had me back to normal in less than 24 hours. Perfect service as always from all of the practices staff.

I have been with Bupa Dental Care, Pontefract (formally Oasis) for many years (20+) During this time I have had several changes of dentists. I have always found them very helpful and professional, as have been their respective Dental nurses, some of whom have been with the practice for many years (take a bow Joanne and Hayley!). My current dentist is Rajvir Dutt and I feel obliged to place on record how pleased and impressed I have been with him. His thoroughness and attention to detail are excellent, matched also by his knowledge and commitment. I would wholeheartedly recommend him and would like to thank him for his continuing treatment.

I am a very nervous patient when it comes to dental treatment.. seriously nervous, my last 3 visits to Bupa Pontefract have been made more bearable by the skill and patience of my dentist Rav, my confidence levels are increasing due to the care received from him and the team.

Absolutely Disgusting. No where does it state that there are missed appointment fees. I missed a back to back appointment (for some reason a scale and polish requires a check in with the dentist then the hygienist) in Summer. First I got a snotty letter explaining that any more missed appointments will result in me being kicked out. THE LETTER DID NOT STATE THERE WAS A MISSED APPOINTMENT FEE. Fast forward 4 months and I receive another letter demanding I pay the balance on my account. Speaking to the surgery directly, I have been told that I was made aware of late appointment fees during my treatment plan. I WAS NOT MADE AWARE. This place seriously needs to sort themselves out. It's clear that staff make things up when asked about treatment prices and frankly it's shocking that patients are forced to pay so much money for an honest mistake. I have ALWAYS paid in full and on time for all treatments. This is deeply unprofessional.

Having had horrible tooth pain and being petrified of the dentist for nearly 30 years!! I took the leap and went to see Dr Rajvir Dutt at Pontefract Bupa. I can’t explain how scared I was. During my emergency appointment they decided I needed two teeth removed. I was so impressed by the way my nervousness was dealt with, the whole experience was so much better than I had built it up to be. Very professional but also extremely personable and reassuring. I would absolutely recommend to anyone who has a genuine fear!

I pay as a private patient here just so the children can have a local dentist... consistently late for appointments. Waited 30 mins past our appointment time for a 4yr old. AGAIN. Why could no-one phone up or text or email and say come later we are really behind? Guarantee if we turned up half an hour past our time it wouldn't be acceptable for them. 2 receptionists just sat there. Only after my 4yr old took it upon himself to ask 'why am i so last'..... "We can reschedule your appointment if its better?" Welllll no that's not better is it.... Waste of petrol. Waste of paying for parking. Waste of precious time after nursery time. We left UNSEEN (to avoid a £60 parking fine!) Will NOT be returning to this dreadful practice.

Waited 50 mins as been forgotten/double booked, needed a follow on appointment and was told I'd get a call back as dentist was busy!?? No call so chased as in pain, unfortunately a different receptionist answered, I was fobbed off, given excuses of "i don't know, nothing to do with me!", customer care appalling as receptionist actually laughed at my situation and told me I couldn't get appointment as taken off NHS list with no notification - during the pandemic!. Dentist however had informed me during initial appointment (when i finally got in) that he was reducing number of patients as he wanted to spend more time at home. Don't care about patients, no compassion and when i asked the dentist about booking for treatment, he said you'll have to find another dentist!!! Awful experience, and still in pain, absolutely no care at all. AVOID
