I went into Clarks because I wanted a good quality pair of leather shoes for the autumn winter months. The assistant was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and I came away with a lovely pair of shoes.
Mark in the Welwyn Garden City branch is always so kind and helpful when we buy shoes for our young child. I wouldn't buy childrens shoes anywhere else due to the fantastic service we have received!
After experiencing prolonged foot pain, I've been looking for shoes that support my feet and provide relief. I came into this store with my Mum and we were helped by an amazing lady called Lisa. She was patient and attentive and allowed me to try on many different shoes and different sizes. I never felt rushed and I left with a pair of shoes that so far have been much more supportive. Managed to miss the back-to-school rush, so was quickly helped in a relatively quiet store by several friendly staff. The store is nicely laid out, with lots of examples of their shoes on display and more sizes available in the store. I wasn't sure what size to get - normally Clarks is where you go to get accurate measures - because I was shopping for someone else. Turns out, the size I was given didn't fit, so I'm back again to swap them over for a larger size. No problem at all, again the staff were quick to help. Unfortunately, they didn't have the right size in stock, but no problems getting a refund. All in all, a smooth if ultimately unsuccessful shopping trip. Definitely the place to try for decent smart shoes for school or work.
Was delighted this morning that Lisa and the store manager were able to find me the sandals I wanted. No longer on display but they rooted around at the back and found a pair of the sandals with magnets.

Assistant Lisa was very helpful and knowledgeable with assessing my particular requirements. Left the shop on Saturday with a very comfortable pair of sandals and light comfortable shoes.
