Senior stylist Craig stepped in for my appointment following a substitute no-show by a colleague. It was my lucky day! Craig offered some great style suggestions for me. His expert knowledge and experience with cutting and styling curly hair gave me confidence. Two days later I’m still very happy with the results.
I had a fantastic experience with Jess! I have thin hair, which can be tricky to work with, but she knew exactly how to cut and style it in a way that gave it volume and movement without making it look flat or wispy. She also took the time to give me great advice on how to care for and style thin hair at home, recommending products and techniques that would help maintain the look without weighing my hair down. Loved her a lot ❤️
Jess Langridge did my hair for me (and my bridesmaid) for my wedding and she was amazing. When I met her at my hair trial, I knew we were going to get along! She was so friendly and flexible. I showed her some inspo photos and she created my bridal look just as I wanted it. On the day, she was calm, chatted away to everyone and most importantly, my hair looked amazing! I went into Nicky Clarke in the Mailbox yesterday feeling my hair was flat and dull especially since having a baby. Joseph suggested putting a toner on it to give my hair its vibrancy back. Such a quick and cost effective way to bring my hair back to life. I left the Salon feeling so much better and back to myself. I can't thank Joseph enough. I think the pictures speak for themselves! LOVE IT!!
I was greeted warmly at reception by the friendly, happy front of house workers. Ian, the hairdresser politely introduced himself. My coat was hung up and then a handsome young man called Jake washed and conditioned my hair. I was asked if I would like a drink, so I had a nice cup of tea. Ian asked me how I would like my hair cut and styled so I showed him a photo on my phone. Ian put me at ease with his good sense of humour. I enjoyed chit chatting with him, especially about his dog Reggie because I am an animal lover! I was very happy with the hair cut and service. The premises were clean. I definitely recommend this salon. A pleasant experience overall. Thank you to all the staff.
Jess is such a delightful lady with a cheery and sunny disposition, you’ll always get a service with a smile. She is incredibly precise at achieving the best look for your hair and tailors it to you. My hair always looks and feels fabulous when Jess colours and cuts it, I always get complimented. She’s the absolute best at what she does.
Absolutely amazing. I went in very nervous about a big change but Ian put me totally at ease and did a fantastic job. Would highly recommend to absolutely anyone, especially if you want to go from long hair to short. Totally restored my faith in hairdressers, thank you so much!
I actually can’t put into words how happy I am with my hair! Honestly the happiest I’ve ever walked out of a salon, I don’t know how Ian did it but my hair feels 5 x thicker than it did when I walked in and the best condition it’s been in years. Not only did the end result far exceed my already high expectations, the whole experience from start to finish was perfect, everyone in the salon was lovely and accommodating and Ian really took the time to listen to what I wanted, what my concerns were. I felt heard, not rushed and well looked after. It truly was a gold standard salon experience.
Martin is so approachable. Listened to everything I wanted and added his own suggestions. Recommended how to get root lift with my fine hair. All round enjoyable experience and I am so pleased with the cut. I know it will be more manageable and easier to kerp looking good. Thank you Martin I hope your shoulder feels better soon.
