   had such a lovely experience here and can’t thank the team enough. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, which really put me at ease. Dr Ahmed was absolutely great and took the time to explain everything clearly while sorting my tooth out, making the whole process feel stress-free. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking for a kind and professional dental team. She even registered myself and my children to the practice!!! Amazing team they have!!!!

   Honestly the best dentist going. I was referred through 111 and went in fully expecting the usual dentist experience… but that never happened. From the moment I arrived, everything was calm, organised, and friendly, which immediately felt suspicious (in a good way). The reception team were welcoming and helpful and got me sorted with the forms without any stress. The dental nurses have been unbelievably kind and caring throughout the sort of people who actually notice if you’re nervous and help without making a fuss about it. The first dentist I saw made me laugh and completely put me at ease, and I now usually see Ammara, who is equally lovely she explains everything clearly and thoroughly too, answers all my questions, and never makes you feel rushed or silly for asking. The clinic itself is spotless, relaxed, and somehow doesn’t have that sharp, clinical “dentist smell” that usually hits you the second you walk through the door. If you know, you know. I genuinely wouldn’t choose to go anywhere else now. If you have to go to the dentist, this is the place to do it.

   I recently had a root canal treatment at Hick Lane Dental Surgery with the dentist Omar and nurse Halima, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the care I received. From the day I first registered, the whole team has been incredibly professional, welcoming and reassuring. Omar explained everything clearly and made the entire treatment feel comfortable and stress free. Halima was equally fantastic calm, supportive and very attentive throughout my visits. Their teamwork really shows, and it gave me complete confidence in the care I received. I had my digital scans done for whitening with the nurse halima and now beginning my cosmetic journey and I genuinely feel I’m in the best hands. Highly recommend Hick Lane Dental Surgery to anyone looking for skilled caring dental professionals!!

   Not a patient, visited for emergency dental treatment. To begin with I was never asked for any medical history at ALL, no form was filled in and no questions were asked. When the Xray was completed I was not asked if I was pregnant. I was telling the Dentist about my situation and felt I was being ignored as they did not respond. I was also notified by my partner who attended with me that the Nurse had left the room with her blue gloves on touching the door handle, returned with blue gloves on again touching the door handle and then proceeded to treat me. Unfortunately at the time, we were both extremely tired and I was in too much pain to pick up on or notice these issues enough to address them. Following the treatment I was subject to extreme vomiting, Nausea and fever. I was admitted to A&E the next day and had multiple tests including X rays as I was told by an emergency GP I had a high risk for Sepsis. My X rays were reviewed by a Maxillofacial surgeon who said my filling was done incorrectly. They had masked infection. I am now on dual antibiotics and struggling with huge swelling in my face. I have visited another dentist and realised how unprofessional my experience at hick lane had been. I was asked for to fill in a huge form for medical history and the dentist had a lengthy discussion with me BEFORE any treatment. I now have to wait until antibiotics completed to have any corrective treatment. (This was also a 111 appointment ) I’m really disappointed in my experience at Hick Lane and concerned about the practices.

   Been a patient at Hick Lane for many years now and have only positive things to say. Great local practice with lovely staff, in particular Nicola Selby who I cannot rate highly enough! Nicola is by far the best Dentist I've ever been to - she has helped me with extensive dental work over the years and goes above and beyond to look after her patients. Really pleased to have found this Practice :)

   The dentist I see is perfect always great when I have my check up and thorough. The reception staff however could do with some training. Trying to book an appointment (after been told every 2 years from my dentist) for the receptionist to think she is more qualified and I should have already been seen and tried to push for an appointment sooner. Feel like just want me in to get more money but do not realize I need to take a day off work to go to the dentist. Dentists are great reception need improvement not to be so arrogant to customers
