Went to the store today to purchase some stone chippings for my garden. After managing to lift the heavy bags into a trolley, I then tried to push it to the checkout. On seeing me struggling I was approached by a member of staff who took my trolley from me and wheeled it to the checkout. Not only did he scan them for me he then offered to take them to my car and put them in my boot. He went above and beyond and I want to thank him for the service he provided. His name was Brian, he truly was a credit to the store. Thank you Brian you are a star ⭐

Thank you Don at the Bidston B&Q. Customer Service was outstanding. Went to Timber Cutting to see if he could cut a few steel wardrobe poles down. Unfortunately, the machines were only for wood but Don went out of his way to find a copper pole cutter and trimmed then down perfectly, whilst juggling other customer requests. Thank you!

Visited the store on 8th oct, with a gentleman in a wheelchair. We had full acess and no issues with parking. Loads of room to get around store without issue. Was helped by a member of staff JAKE (dark hair, short beard) he couldn't of been more helpful and showed us where item was and checked i had got the correct one. Got to tills and again loads of room for the chair. Disabled parking is ample and we got everything we needed

Paint department absolutely shocking, they had two tins of what I needed in stock, wasn't on shelf so asked he had a quick look and said it must be in the back then just started serving other customers (easier jobs) I finally left after standing there for 10mins

Really popular today due to nice weather encouraging people to do projects. Problem was it was under staffed with few experts out on the floor to advise. Also only 1 staffed till so customers made to be unpaid checkup operators while being watched by a member of staff and cameras as if we are all dishonest shoplifters.

Came in the other day to see whether there were any plants on offer, I would like to give a mention to the blonde Woman on that section who looked busy but still gave time to us when we had a couple of newbie questions as I had no idea about indoor plants and she couldn't be more helpful. Didn't catch your name but without her I wouldn't of bought the plants I did and they now look great at home with her advice.

I've been here many times over the years, my recent visit was a bit different. The car park was a little difficult but understandably so as I believe there is some building work going on. I was very impressed by one member of staff who actually approached me and gave me some useful guidance to find a particular product, spot on. Should've asked his name to give him a mention but very helpful, thank you.

Staff on paint counter were excellent, friendly and helpful. They ensured we got the correct paint for our requirements and mixed the colour we requested . They also stored the details for us on the computer in case we need more of the exact mix in future. They also told us about B &Q special offers and how to register for a club card

We went to the store on 27th Dec 9.50am to buy a kitchen unit, in a flat pack. We asked a group of 4 assistants , who were standing talking, "which isle?" they told us but carried on talking. We found the isle but had to ask another assistant "was that the right size?" he said yes, but left us to pick up the flat pack unit without helping. I know my partner was there to lift it for me, but we are in our mid 70s and although we didn't ask for help to take it to cash desk, I think they should have offered. Usually good service there, but not today.
