   Had a quote for a kitchen back in November. Nothing untoward and suggested allowing c15-20k as a budget. What followed was a quote for 35k and a number of wattsapp messages to my wife asking if we were going to go ahead. To put the ridiculous quote into perspective, Magnet quoted £14.7k! I would avoid this store like the plague. It seems to be a Howdens general problem as the Chester store was even worse, they didn’t even provide a quote and the designer clearly didn’t like his job!

   The team at Bromborough provide a good service but I would avoid using Howdens in the future as they are extremely difficult to deal with if anything goes wrong. My mum's kitchen cost her over £15,000 which was paid direct to Howdens but when a faulty washing machine leaked and caused £2,000 of damage to her newly laid floor Howdens refused to even accept that they had a contract with her and would not consider any compensation for the damage caused. They instead insisted that her contract was with the installer and not Howdens and blamed their approved installer for the damage. She has been dealing with Howdens solicitor for the last 6 months and getting nowhere. I wouldn't recommend using Howdens as they will claim your contract is with the installer and not with them if the kitchen or appliances are faulty.

   Had a kitchen designed exactly how we wanted it by Carlo and bought the kitchen from here over a year ago and put it in storage. When I came to fitting it I noticed a few bits were missing. I called up and spoke to Sam who was extremely helpful and replaced the few bits that I needed without any hesitation. Really good service from everyone involved and I can't thank them enough for helping me out.

   We had Alan to measure up and plan our kitchen, . We then had a change of plan, our kitchen fitter, rang Alan, to ask if we could go and see him. Within an hour he fitted us in, problem solved. Kitchen nearly finished as I am writing this. Alan is so professional nothing to much trouble. Thank you for all your help Alan
