   This review is focused on the rooftop lounge at The Mandarin Oriental Mayfair - namely The A-Bar / Hannover Bar - an elegant lounge, with attentive service, and exclusive feel to access the lounge. The live DJ was an unexpected surprise that provided an added touch of sophistication - as the DJ was equally presentable and set the atmosphere for the lounge experience. The DJ’s music was a lively mix of house-jazz that kept the atmosphere eclectic. We were able to have an enjoyable conversation without having to compete with the music. Very well done. The food was perfect for what we were seeking - nibble bites … and the drinks prepared specifically to our particular requests. The Bar can only be described as understated elegance, accompanied by impeccable service. Top marks all the way around - especially to the DJ.

   Our visit was spontaneous, prompted by an afternoon stroll through Hyde Park, and we were seeking refreshments. The service was exceptional from the moment of arrival, with a warm greeting and attentive assistance from a gentleman who escorted us to the bar. Complimentary savories were thoughtfully provided, enhancing the experience. The interior and exterior decor are exceptionally beautiful, creating a delightful atmosphere where no request seemed too difficult. Upon departure, we were shown a stunning room by a helpful staff member, who explained its use for afternoon tea service. We are certainly planning a return visit to experience it.

   The service was amazing. They offered to take our coats and bags when we sat down. We ordered the cosmo 75 and it was lovely. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was pleasant. Would definitely recommend getting drinks here.

   Having spent the day in Knightsbridge with a friend, we decided to sit down for cocktails at the Mandarin Oriental. The place is stylish and nicely decorated, as you’d expect from a 5-star establishment. The staff are friendly, kind and attentive, and helped my friend charge her phone after she forgot to bring her cable with her. We very much enjoyed our cocktails and the general ambiance. Highly recommended.

   Brilliant service and top-notch drinks. One of the few places post-covid that have kept up their high standards in both service and quality of drinks. Both standard cocktails and the signature cocktails are prepared by experts. Worth every penny.

   This is a very quiet bar whuch offers lovely cocktails. It is quite dark which some people would like. Personally I feel that the blue bar at the dorchester is better but it can difficult at time to be able to get a drink there. I don't feel you would have same issue here. Compared to all other establishments in this hotel this one falls slightly short. I say this because I do feel they need to do something with the decor. The service was exceptional. My cocktail was fun even though small. I cannot remember the name but it was one of their signatures. It did come with the drama (as pictures). I would recommend a signature of the rest because there is a bit more dramatic flair.
