When I rang up I was told to come straight down. They gave me advice on how to get there safely with my flat tyre. Paige was really helpful. The work was done quicker than expected!
Brilliant service from start to finish. Needed new tyre after breakdown afternoon before. Got booked in online the next day, Sunday, and easy and swift change of tyre. Will be recommending to friends and family and will definitely use again.
Originally called a different branch which had no availability! Was called back within an hour by an office manager (unfortunately can’t remember his name) who reached out and organised a repair in the Hillsborough branch. Once there I received a warm welcome and excellent customer service. I drove away very happy.
I think it may be time for a rebrand. 'Kwik fit' it is not. We arrived a few minutes before our appointment and a technician did put the car into a bay straight away. Then the pace dropped, dramatically. The car was in the first bay, next to waiting room, so we had a clear view. After removing the wheel our tech seemed to lose direction. 30 minutes after arriving the wheel was still not refitted. It was probably another 20 minutes before the job was complete.
Did a great job. Not quite sure how I missed the big nail in the tyre, or how the chap fixing it said he couldn't see anything until I said, "well...there's defo a puncture whatever was causing it..." And there it was...a massive nail that no-one should really have missed - me or him. Magic really! Anyway, I needed a new tyre and the puncture was there, so all is well that ends well. Those massive nails eh?! Must have initially been painted with camouflage paint.
I'll say upfront that I don't like Kwik Fit. I have found them pushy and aggressive in the past. But this time I was in a hurry and had a puncture. A search online said that they opened at 8am whereas others showed as opening at 8:30. They actually opened at 8:30 and the earliest time they could attend to my problem was 3:10pm! I went elsewhere and was attended to almost straight away, and charged £5 less than Kwik Fit 's published prices.
Very Busy most of the time. I just wanted to have my Tyres Checked for Pressure. Because I wasn’t sure if I had a slow Puncture on the front Drivers side. They didn’t hang about they had me sorted in minutes every thing ok. Then I was on my way.
