Great service from Aaron and Everyman! Been a customer here for several years now and never a complaint! Good booking system, good atmosphere and always a great hair cut!
I had booked an appointment for a skin fade and beard trim, but the moment I sat down and started explaining what I wanted, the barber cut me off saying he couldn’t do both because they “don’t have that combined service on Booksy.” Instead of trying to help or clarify, he just rushed straight into the haircut clearly uninterested and unfocused. Even after showing him clear photos and videos of exactly what I wanted (at least ten examples!), he did the complete opposite. My sides were totally unbalanced one side way too high, the other kept low when all I asked for was a simple taper fade. To make matters worse, I noticed the barber smelled of alcohol, which I tried to ignore at first. But it quickly became obvious he had no clue how to handle scissors or beards properly. The result was a complete mess uneven sides, patchy beard, and an overall sloppy finish. I had chosen this place because I’d heard good things and had a wedding to attend that day. When I asked to speak to the manager, he seemed completely clueless and disinterested. I mentioned that the barber hadn’t even bothered to brush the hair off my face, and the manager’s only response was, “Come back in 3.5 hours, someone will fix it then.” As I explained, I had a wedding to go to — but they simply didn’t care. No apology, no effort to make things right. And to top it all off while I was leaving the shop, cleaning tons of hair off myself, I saw the same barber (who told me he couldn’t do a skin fade because he had another appointment) go up to someone sitting there and ask if he wanted a haircut clearly no appointment at all. So not only did he do a terrible job, but he lied straight to my face.
Travelling to Birmingham via New,Street for business I quickly booked with Everyman Barbers online. A warm professional welcome by Julia was my first impression. She offer me a hot or cold beverage. Even an ice cold beer if I wanted" all part of the service, julia said". Julia provided me with an excellent professional haircut and shampoo, it was one of the best haircuts I have had in awhile. If passing through Birmingham New Street again I will definitely use. I highly recommend Everyman Barbers.
First time trying them out only to be told they wont have enough time to do what i wanted which was trim on top fade and beard trim. Only then to be told i either have the top cut or beard left out or vice verser. The barber eduard dealt with the situation horribly i felt like i was an inconveinience. Guess if your not white your not worth it.
Regular customer. I was served by Aaron who is a fantastic barber. Friendly, good conversation, really cared about doing a good job and gave me some great tips on maintaining the beard. Thoroughly recommend.
Great haircut. Staff are always great here. I generally book in advance to avoid queueing too long, but they take walkins. Plus you can grab a free beer while you wait!
Quite impressed with the amount of care they gave to my hair just to make it perfect. I wasn't sure which haircut to get and will look good. The barber gave enough time to discuss with me what will look good. At the end it was perfect. Got few advice too. Unfortunately didn't ask the name of you mate. But hey thanks for the look.
Friendly staff, smart shop but quite possibly the worst haircut I’ve had for a long time. My ‘blend’ couldn’t be more unblended. My throat was completely cut from the shave and my barbers hands stank of cigarettes … not to mention £41 is very expensive at the best of time.
I called in today for a haircut with my daughter and friend. The staff were so helpful, professional and welcoming. I'm really happy with the cut and will return again! Thank you :)
