Great until a trip to A+E! Not blaming the park, however the path was uneven and my little lad tripped over a big pothole in the path and smashed his forehead off the pavement 10 minutes into our visit! Not the type to throw blame around so will be back again as it was really good until we had to leave however the pathways are a little uneven.

Much larger than expected and a very large mix of birds (and a couple of Otters) to see. The walk around the surrounding nature reserve was brilliant. The views from the numerous hides are fantastic. Our 4 yr old had a brilliant day. Family of 3 and ended up joining for the year as we enjoyed it so much for a family pic nic day out location.

A really lovely place to go if you'd like to spend a day in nature. We did the otter and flamingo talks, which was informative and interesting. It's lovely to do the longer walk down to the salt marshes in sunny weather, and the kids liked bird spotting in the hides. It was great that the hides had little information sheets with common birds on for each respective location. It's worth taking along some binoculars if you have any. The play area is good, the kids really enjoyed it, particularly the water play area (come prepared with a change of clothes). We took our own picnic, but also had drinks and ice cream at the main cafe, which had a modest selection of foods. On the day we visited, there was also a pond dipping session on which the children really enjoyed. It's worth downloading the app before booking tickets as you get a discount off the tickets if you book via the app. The app was also really handy and it sends you little timely reminders for any talks or activities you want to do. It was also handy for giving us a live location on the map when we were walking round.

Beautiful place, we won tickets for wwt, but even if we paid the full price, we'd still be happy, such a lovely place to explore, and every single member of staff are lovey. Pond dipping is so interesting, and we got up close and personal with a cheeky little frog, we also got a friend in the shape of a cricket who wouldn't leave my hand. The bird feeding areas are excellent, up close and personal to geese and ducks is a delight. Would highly recommend, and is definitely a day out and some Thanks

As well as being good for serious birdwatchers this is family friendly and a great place to get close to nature. Well laid out. Loved the 360° bird hide. Have never seen so many woodpeckers. Varied walk through the reserve. Otter and flamingo talks not on at the moment nor bird feeding due to bird flu. Lego safari very impressive. Nice cafe and small shop.

Visited in February school holidays with 9 Yr old and 4 year old. We spent a couple of hours there, but could have easily doubled that if we went earlier in the day. Place is lovely and the staff were lovely. Puddle jumping event was on and it was great! Highly recommended and we will be back again! Take spare clothes for the kids if there are puddles!
