Fantastic hairdressers. Lisa works absolute wonders with my hair. I walk out feeling as though I've been really pampered and looked after. I've been a regular customer for 10 years plus and wouldn't go anywhere else.
Really annoyed! I've let some time pass before writing this review, hoping I'd think my hair wasn't so bad. But no. Haircut is the worst I've had in years. Been using this salon for an absolute age but have seen standards decline massively, but continued to go, because I had a favourite stylist who has now moved on. Have never been a fan of Lisa salon owner. She's unpleasant, or artificially polite, and just makes me feel on edge. Bit of matriarch energy maybe? Just odd on the phone and in person. Not sure why she says 'yes with Lisa it's...' instead of saying 'with me...' Had a different stylist on my last visit, and she's left my hair feeling like l let a 5 year old get happy with playing hairdresser! I'm a grown woman, so a bad haircut isn't as forgiving! I get it! Everyone is stressed about the economy and life right now. But when you're wanting a pamper and paying steep prices, you want what you pay for! I overlooked the entire experience on my last visit. From a shockingly dirty, yes dirty, and cluttered room where they wash hair, to a stylist that was insanely rushed when doing my hair (she must have knocked me at least 6 times!), and who was so zoned out, huffy puffy and fed up, I had to tell her a gazillion times what I wanted, and eventually gave up! She was clearly booked back to back which is always annoying! Doesn't make for a relaxing experience especially when your stylist is running around knocking you throughout! Oh and, my hair was washed before the stylist came to see my hair and ask what I wanted, which up until this visit, was standard protocol! Just a God awful experience! Don't pay for a pamper to feel stressed. I left very stressed, wasn't particularly pleased with my haircut at the time, but couldn't wait to get out of there, won't be returning. No one wants a butchered look! Sadly my time to see if I can find a new stylist! Lastly, I thinks it's absolutely ridiculous that the price of a trim is the same as a cut and blow dry! And the price of a hair colour doesn't include hair drying?! Make it make sense!
I've been here twice for my kids haircuts (5 and 7). Helen was amazing with them and has done a great job. Able to advise on the best shape for their heads as well. Definitely my new regular spot!
My first time at a hairdressers and I was so nervous. The staff made me comfortable and Lisa did an amazing job to make my hair look beautiful. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone!
Although I showed them the picture and I explained really well what I wanted I ended up with an ugly colour almost grey with green they told me it would disappear if I wash it but it was not the case, my hair looks now very unhealthy and freezy, although I did a treatment they advised me for. In addition to all of this the price they charged was more than the one discussed in the beginning. Very bad experience wouldn’t advise for it
Lovely staff. Very professional and accommodating too. Prices very reasonable too and premises are lovely and clean. Easy to get to and park. Daughter 6 had hair cut and styling x Olivia was amazing and little one thoroughly enjoyed the pampering x thankyou so much x
I first went to Mutu 7 years ago to have my wedding hair done. Lisa was so good at my trial I opted to have all my bridesmaid hair done as well! Since then I have come to Mutu as a regular customer and it’s always been fantastic. I’ve have cuts, colours, styling, pretty much everything and it’s always been to a really high standard. I feel really comfortable going there, all the staff are friendly and helpful. I’ve since sent my husband there too and he’s now a regular, and my daughter just had a first ever hair cut there and enjoyed it so much she didn’t want to leave.
I've recently had my hair cut and highlighted by Laura, she did a fantastic job! I'm always so nervous to go to a hairdressers because I'm quite specific about what I want but Laura listened and did an even better job than I'd imagined. Thanks Mutu!
So. The girl child got a comb stuck in her hair whilst having a bath (I know, right?). Mutu not only squeezed her in, but were fab looking after her, including a LOT of talking her round about the need to cut the comb out. Thank you!
