Underrated, very good pieces can be found here at a decent price. However customer service is not always the best!!!!
I rarely leave reviews, but the level of poor customer service I experienced deserves to be called out. From the moment I reached the till to pay, I was met with rudeness, unresponsiveness, and a complete lack of accountability. Customer service is the face of a business, and if this is how they treat people, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere—and encouraging others to do the same. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional. She was a blonde women and had a completely disrespectful attitude. She worked on a Tuesday around 12:15am.
Very rude older woman that served me, she pratically threw the clothes into my bag and her tone was harsh. I spent £48 in there as well. Will be returning the items, I am not spending that much money in a shop where I am treated like that.
The shop is nice,prices ok,but the staff is always unhappy and making you feel uncomfortable and not welcome at all. I did regret every time and every penny I spent in that place and my family and I will never go back.One of the examples would be that one day I was undecided what to buy for my Daughter's birthday and one of the staff came to me and said that I spent too long time in the shop so I have to rush...I was shocked as it was morning time.It happened before Covid and was @11am.
Shopped today again at peacocks, and was served by Denise, after buying one item a fabulous jumper, she suggested a pair of jeans that were on 20% discount would go well with them.I hadn't noticed them, I tried them and they were knock out, all the staff are always helpful, friendly, and polite, the best boutique in the high street, the product range is great, and the staff are always ready to advise, and spend the time to help you.
I'm expecting this store to be closing down soon, there are virtually never any customers in this place it is like a ghost shop I don't know how they can afford to keep it open their clothing items are overpriced but at a Primark level quality but actually not even Primark level quality. They really need to work on their concept, nobody goes in there it is a waste of space and they could make this a success if they tried but they will go into administration nationally too as well unless they put a bit more effort into their stores Primark has got the right formula why can't Peacocks do something and gets the formula right before they go bust, peacocks management are you listening?
Shop is lovely downside the Asian looking girl with the extremely long nails is so impolite it's actually a massive turn off. She doesnt greet you nor does she smile, looks unpleasant and unbothered
