   Last Friday my husband and I went to George Michael’s and we had a lovely Kleftico meal - the atmosphere was fine - but unfortunately after leaving the restaurant my husband misplaced his footing on the moon shaped steps - l could see he was going to fall and l reached out to save him and we BOTH tumbled down and hit the pavement ! My point is that there were NO rails outside to hold onto - had there been this would never have happened! I broke my glasses which will have to be replaced- banged my forehead on the concrete - and generally we both were very shaken up - two very kind passers by helped me get up ( for which l give them many thanks - names not known) l am nearly 82 - husband 86 ! I think a rail maybe beneficial and may avoid this happening again……but it was a very nice meal ….

   Had a very disappointing visit here, which was very surprising looking at the reviews below. We visited mid-week and were welcomed without a wait which was great. There’s limited lager and wine choices but the portions were generous. We had starters and mains and everything we ordered was overcooked and had too much lemon in them. The vine leaves were in a lemon creamy sauce which was both bitter and sweet, and was so hot, it was impossible to eat for quite a while. Both or mains of halibut and chicken souvlaki were overcooked and dry (but also lemony). The dishes came out quite quickly and we could hear the microwave beeping regularly so suspect that had something to do with it. Other diners seem to be enjoying their meal choices so perhaps we were just unlucky. And disappointed. We didn’t feedback to the restaurant, just paid our relatively pricey bill and headed to a pub nearby to cleanse our palates.

   First time we've ever been here after walking past it every time we visit Scarborough. .....lovely restaurant. The staff are helpful and kind, the service was excellent and the food was superb. I had swordfish which was delicious whilst my husband had the veal, he said that was very nice. It was a very busy Saturday evening when we visited but that didn't impact on the service at all....spot on. After our meal we sat in the bar at the front of the restaurant to finish our wine.....we'll definitely be back

   Another amazing meal at George Michaels. Tzatziki and warm pitta strips pork meatballs in tomato sauce. Chicken a la crema and lovely fresh veg followed by Black Forest Gateau. A great value filling and delicious meal. We'll see you next time

   Lovely restaurant, nice feeling around the place. Food was stunning, I don't know why they gave me a steak knife for my sirloin as a butter knife would have been fine as the steak was so tender. The veal was amazing. Something I wouldn't have at home. Highly recommend here.

   During our first night in Scarborough for our first daughters ever beach holiday we randomly came across this restaurant & walking around. They were very accommodating from the start, to finish as we managed to get a table without pre-booking or ringing. All food from the starters, mains & desserts were spot on, just the right amount of food, not to much or to little.
