Located in the other half of the old Yorkshire bank is the new sleek and modern hairdresser by Sean . Access to the shop is via the two steps up or the wheelchair ramp .You use the original bank door to get into the small foyer . Birches is immediately in front of you. There is still work in progress but there will be an accessible pad mounted on the wall to operate the inner door . Access for the disabled /elderly has been taken into account and there is plenty of room in the salon for even a large wheelchair like mine .At the rear of the shop there is a sliding glass door for access to a small outdoor patio and waiting area . Unfortunately it’s not wheelchair accessible . There is also a disabled toilet done to modern specs ,and even has an alcove into which one can turn the wheelchairs around!! The staff are very helpful and accommodating. Main phone will change I think once lines are out in . Enjoy Ladies
