I bought a pair of shoes from this store, but when my wife wore them, they started hurting her feet from the back. The shoes are neat and clean β we only realized the problem when she tried walking in them. When I went back to the store to request an exchange, they refused, saying the shoes had been used and therefore could not be returned. I explained that without wearing them, how can anyone know whether the shoes fit properly or cause discomfort? You only find out once you walk in them. The staff then told me to contact customer support, and said they would only exchange the shoes if customer support sent them an email. This is poor service the counter staff already knew that customer support usually doesnβt take such cases seriously, yet they still sent me there instead of resolving the issue directly. Very disappointing experience.

Having spent nearly Β£400 in store today, I got home to discover that a trio set of toiletries had an item missing. No one picked up the phone in store, so I drove all the way back on a point of principle, having felt cheated of a purchase. The item was replaced, but the store manager was unable to offer a token gesture of goodwill - βcanβt do thatβ. Complete lack of vendor responsibility and values. Customer time and travel expense wasted, but not a bit of humility from Sports Direct Borehamwood - shame on you.

DO NOT order anything to store for collection. They have had my package for over 2 weeks with no update and the customer service online is one of the worst experiences iv never had. You literally canβt speak to a person. I couldnβt even get a refund so have has to dispute the payment with my bank! AVOID sports direct at all costs. Just take your money and donβt deliver! Pathetic *update finally got through to someone who told me they had emailed it to the warehouse to sort out. 2 weeks later no reply! No shoes and they stole my moneyβ¦ avoid avoid avoid

Absolutely shocking, no way anyone has genuinely put 5 stars for this store. We had to buy some new shoes for a 4 year old who had splint fitted for her leg and foot. Had to find shoes to fit, so we have to buy 2 different sizes of the same shoe. Not to easy to put them on her in store, so we bought 4 pairs. Tried to take the ones that didn't fit back. Refused a refund by ignorant and rude people. Gave us store credit, tell you something now. Keep the money, got no interest in ever stepping foot in your store ever again. Absolutely vile.

Horrible customer service. We will never go back to this Sports Direct. Half of the items we wanted to buy were marked up when we billed them at till. And the billing person was very rude about it when we asked them about it saying its not his problem that we have to pay double of the marked price. In this day and age this is unacceptable. We left the store without buying anything.

Great customer service from Nneka! I was waiting to be served at the till and I could appreciate her way of dealing with an old lady in front of me. She was extremely professional but naturally friendly, supportive and empathetic. Great asset for the company!

"Shocking" customer service. I was purchasing the last display pair of golf shoes as a present , and despite what I deemed as a clear blemish in the display shoe , the Store manager Fiona made me and her customers wait nearly 10 mins sending the poor cashier back and forth to reject my claims. I approached her directly but she wasn't interested in my concerns.To treat me and the customers waiting in this manner, in my honest view, is stubborn and pathetic to say the least. I spent Β£90 in store , why as an organisation would you risk losing a customer for the sake of a couple of quid ? What we talking here? A 10% discount? Utterly baffling. I won't be going back there , the store will be closed before long with that level of service.

Shocking customer service. Bought a swimsuit for my daughter on a hanger that said for age 11.Wrongly labelled and actually for age 7. Two days later brought it back with tags . Fiona the manager told me the assistant must of told me you never ever get a refund on swimwear as if I had lied that no one had mentioned this at all then told me I should have seen signs around the till. Rude and illogical, what a tragic waste of time hope they go bust because they deserve to the way they treat people. Wish I could give negative numbers ! Mis-sold the wrong size but not even an exchange . Be very very wary as they really donβt care as soon as they have taken your money thatβs it !
