Perfect for school shoes . Good quality . From outside this shop brought back memories of the dreaded plasticy ‘Shoe zone’ so I’d always avoided it. I only ventured in because I’d been frustrated with the minimal sizes available for actually trying on in Next and Clark’s. It is just such a relief to find a shop that actually stocks the physical shoes that you can then try on. With kids especially it’s a nightmare to have to order in multiple sizes/widths/styles, still to find none of them fit. But here you can actually try them on! Radical! Rather than the tat I’d expected to find within I found many leather shoes, the Hush Puppy brand worked best for us . Excellent price and customer service too. Really a relief to have finally ventured beyond the door and found this shop which is perfect for kids. I can’t vouch for women’s shoes as I did not look at them at all !

I had such a positive experience at Deichmann thanks to Wahhaj and Gilly! I was looking for trainers for my three children and initially went to another store where we were completely ignored for five minutes—no one even acknowledged us. We decided to try Deichmann instead, and I’m so glad we did. As soon as we walked in, Wahhaj approached us and kindly asked if we needed help. He was incredibly helpful and patient, assisting each of my children in choosing the right trainers. It made the whole process smooth and stress-free. At the checkout, Gilly was just as impressive—welcoming, accommodating, and took the time to ensure everything was perfect. It was clear that both staff members genuinely cared about customer service. I left the store very impressed and grateful for the attentive, friendly support. Yesterday 14/09/2024 around the evening, I called the store in Deichmann in Wandsworth Southgate shopping centre and one lady at the phone (unfortunately I don’t have her name) helped me to find the size that I was looking for the boots that I like it. So, this morning I went in person to collect the boots and the lady that was in change at the cashier (unfortunately I don’t have her name), found the boots and gave it to me and after I decided to try on. They were fitting well, the only issue on the left boot there was a scratched on the leither. I let noticed the scratched and she tried to fix it using their products. Now it’s very visible that there is this issue on the boot and I was asking her if she could do some discount regarding the issue and she said NO. Ok I accepted, but now she made the little scratch even more visible and this IT’S NOT ACCEPTABLE AT ALL!!! Staff like her should know how to do her job but apparently now she made it even worst!!! People like that shouldn’t even work in retail if they even don’t know how to fix the problems!!!! I would give even 0 if I could as a review!!! Disgusting staff and customer service!!!

I came in today to get a pair of boots waterproofed, as I love the machine they have. The lady was very lovely. Since the boots were too high (they are over the knee boots), the top part of the boot was folded inside the machine. The lady made sure to waterproof the top part with a spray when she took them out of the machine. Top service!

Poor customer service from Beth today (1) I really felt I bothered her when I asked for help (2) she brought the wrong size of shoes without pro actively explaining why (had to ask and was told that the other sizes were out of stock) (3) she asked at the till whether I wanted my shoes treated without explaining that would come at an additional cost - as I am not naive, I politely told her that this would probably come at cost. She said yes. Many customers would have fallen for the trick (4)Refused to help disposing of my old shoes (either in store or by indicating the nearest bin) (5) cut me off at the end while I politely challenged her on her customer practices and told me to „have a good day“ so that I go. (6) Refused to take any complaint in store and redirected me to the central website. Overall some work to be done on customer services. Worryingly Beth said that she was a supervisor so sadly not the best example of good customer services if true.

Deichmann To whom it may concern, On the 15/11/22 At apron 17:30pm my mother an myself went to buy some shoes at your store in Wandsworth Southside, which we’ve been loyal customers to since the shop was first opened up. We had a very unprofessional and rude encounter with one of your workers named Khadija. We decided on a pair of shoes which we then ended up buying, when my mother spotted a Large white scratch on the shoe, her college asked if the shoe was faulty, instead of answering her question she answered by saying, ‘no we don’t give discount on these shoes’ eventhough we did not ask for a discount whatsoever, which I found utmost disrespectful. Secondly upon asking for a different pair of shoes she replied by saying ‘leather shoes come with scratches which is normal’ which is completely wrong. She was very unprofessional and We also heard her passing side remarks about a different customers expensive shoes which she said quote ‘she’s holding an the most expensive shoe which she probably can’t afford best to watch her’ Absolutely disgusted by this behaviour. Lastly when we asked her colleague if we can wear the shoe straight after purchasing it, Khadija interrupted by saying ‘ you will not be able to get refund if you wear these shoes’ eventhough I do not intend to return these shoes, my mother is a loyal customer of deichmann for many years, I am well aware of your terms and conditions which clearly state: ‘You can return items for free within 28 days of receiving them’ ‘If an item has developed a fault within 28 days of purchase, please use the same returns process as above and mark the returns paperwork that the item is faulty for a refund. If the fault arises after 28 days,’ this is quoted of your website. I am not happy at all, especially by the way Khadija spoke to my mother, it was meant to be a happy shopping spree which because of her unprofessionalism turned very ugly. I can understand that customer service can be stressful at times. I would advise you to kindly train them accordingly. I would also like to just say thank you to the other college who kindly went and gave us a different pair. I am looking forward to hearing from you Soon. I can also raise this matter further. Quite big store. Good selection of products. I especially like the great discount that can be found towards the end of the store on the top of the shelves. Once I bought some sandals to my girlfriend and she liked them a lot. They`re sellin` good quality on fair prices. There`s a sufficient amount of checkouts as customers usually don`t have to wait too much in a queue (before pandemic). At least, this was my impression.
