Called in for lunch 11 Sept 2025 with my brother and we both had an all day breakfast which we both found to be good quality and value for money, the staff are also very friendly and could not do enough for us.
Pat and her team were sensational at looking after all our children for the whole week Monday - Friday, they even added extras in, everything was 100% prepped, on time and delicious, we are so grateful for the las minute catering demands too! Thanks Pat & team -
Lovely cafe . Brilliant choice of food & staff are welcoming..never knew this place existed.
Place smells of burned plastic the two coffee drinks we purchased were so weak i disposed of mine and my wife drank only a small ammount of hers. Total waste of £6.30 and the nasty smell eminating from there could be noticed in the near by ajoining reception for buisnesses.
I love this cafe, based within the Wigan Investment Centre and is Wigans hidden Gem. Beautiful surroundings, based along the scenic canal. The food is amazing, Pat and her team are always looking for new options to add to the menu. The hot chocolates are out of this world, with cream and marshmallows. Recently started to have takeaway meals to heat up when we like, halloumi fries, salsa, garlic bread, wedges and salad is just the best. I totally recommend and if you haven't yet tried it for lunch then please do. The sandwiches are always made fresh and delicious. Love this little cafe, i usually get my food and sit outside with it alongside the canal. Staff here are lovely and the food is spot on, fresh and hot to go. i usually get my sausage and egg barm with brown sauce and i highly recommend it from here 5*
We called in yesterday while on a bike ride coming out of wigan, the food was really good tasty and hot as were our drinks. On top of that the staff couldn't enough for you. Will be back soon.
Enjoyed a most fantastic buffet yesterday from the Red Pepper café. It was much more exciting and varied then your usual buffet food. Plenty of choice, for veggies, slimmers and everyone else in between! Would most definitely order again.
I'm sorry I would like to leave a better review but I believe that the cafe should make more effort not to produce so much non recyclable waste. Unless someone has been hiding under a rock them they must be aware of the state of our planet and the effect of our use of non recyclable plastics. The sea is full of it and so many animals are dying with plastic in their stomachs. I was at a training session in one of the meeting rooms where delegates were eating inside the premises. I was sad to see that they were served their food in polystyrene boxes with plastic cutlery and drinks in disposable cups with plastic lids. These was no excuse for this as they were not ordering take away meals and even if they were then more ecological packaging should be availible. The cafe is located right along the canal side and should promote looking after our natural environment and waterways. Please reassess your environmental footprint and I will be happy to dine in the cafe as it looks welcoming.
