“great initiative, this. just got two bulging bags of shopping for twenty-odd quid, including some suncream and razors which would cost at least a tenner on their own these days. there's always been a really good selection of produce here, either for your everyday basics like veg and bread and cupboard bits, or little snacky items that perhaps you wouldn't usually venture to. they've always had a really excellent selection of freezer pies that are great to have in, plus some things that you wouldn't really expect like baby food, health food items, gluten free stuff, vegetarian items... all very much worth a look! staff are very friendly and helpful, free parking, and you can grab a toastie when you're done. can't say fairer than that, really. huge asset to the community!”

“The Hamlet is a brilliant place! The trainees/team are fantastic and take such pride in their work! Food and drink from the cafe are always brilliant and Served with a smile! The Woodland shop is always full of goodies! Definitely worth a trip x”

“Absolute gem of a cafe in Wigan. Nice selection of simple but tasty homecooked food. Big breakfast was plenty big enough, really good value and the vegan wraps was tasty and incredibly reasonably priced. The lady serving was lovely and friendly. If I lived nearby I'd definitely be going there again!”

“Good food & reasonable prices. I came here with my two daughters, we had meatballs, a cheese salad and a chicken ceaser wrap. Food was brought to our table promptly and hot.”

“This was a lovely little cafe but it is indeed little. There is limited space if you have a pram. We coincidentally went in with a travel stroller that we could close off and put in a corner but we would not have managed with our pram. However, staff were very friendly and food was delicious. I did find the menu confusing, in the sense that I was not sure what the theme of the menu was (if this makes sense), because I somewhat expected a lot of Maltese food but this was very limited. Nonetheless, the food was clearly prepared with love and care and it was simple full of taste. We even had a dessert for take away and it was gorgeous as well. We will most definitely visit again.”

“Always go here for breakfast with family, food is hot, good quality, plenty of it and delicious. You get service with a smile and if you want something 'tweaked' off the menu they always try to accommodate. We also used Cwtch's outside catering for our Dad's funeral, everyone commented how good the buffet was, especially the home made sausage rolls and home made cakes. They even catered for our vegetarian and gluten free friends. We also needed a small separate buffet for the sheltered accommodation which Cwtch put together little picnic boxes, these were also well received. I would deffinately recommend Cwtch for outside catering.”
