“Cosy, warm atmosphere with good quality beer and excellent food. The Courage bitter was very very good. The idea of having lighter food options is a very good one; the lighter option steak in particular was delicious. The barman was very welcoming and knowledgeable and the breakfast waitress was equally good. The breakfast chef coming out to see how we enjoyed our meal was a nice touch. Our room was good - warm and well appointed.”

“Very pretty surroundings! Lovely venue with pleasant and efficient staff. I was part of a string trio for a wedding. I saw the wedding breakfast and ceremony room set up. It was very nice, with aircon for those hot days. A lovely outdoor area for guests to have drinks when the weather is nice. There is an inside Bar.
