    I was walking passed and smelt the beer, had to go for one. I'm not local and made me feel welcome. I didn't eat food but landlord and barstaff were friendly... Nothing else to say on this occasion

    Good atmosphere not crowded or full of young loud kids good pint friendly staff who will welcome anyone who just wants a drink and aren't upto mischief

    I went to the pub after a funeral. The land lord and lady were very welcoming and friendly, the pub was small but clean, the food was home made potato pie with either pickled red cabbage or beetroot there was also a good mix of sandwiches. You could have either soft drinks or alcohol.
