“Wonderful family meal here. The staff were incredibly friendly and there was a real warmth to the place, lovely atmosphere and the food was spot on. Very spacious upstairs, our daughter loved exploring between courses, cater well for families and young kids here.”

“This was my first time coming to Lily & Arthur’s and all I can say is, words won’t do it justice for how good it is! You have to go and experience the place for yourself!! When me and my partner went, we were received by a lovely and welcoming female waitress. Any help we needed in navigating the menu she was always on hand to help us. Also, for us, it was very refreshing to go in on Good Friday and see the waitress proudly wearing her cross necklace while serving. A little thing on top of everything else, but very much added to our experience. I got a sandwich myself and my partner got one of the toasties. Can I just say, I have never had so much goodness loaded into a Sandwich in all my life. It was incredible. The bread I believe is made from scratch so is beautifully fresh, and the filling inside the Sandwich is a very generous amount for you to enjoy! My partner had a toastie which was very tasty too, with a wonderful amount to enjoy. We loved it there, and would recommend the place to anyone! We can’t wait to go for lunch again but also go in the evening one time to experience an equally amazing evening menu too!”

“Amazing food and wonderful staff. Restaurant is lovely. Marking atmosphere as 4* only due to how loud it was (which is to be expected) but I'm sensitive to noise and it affected my experience. Can't fault the staff, they were perfect. Whoever was working 5th Aug in the evening are awesome.”

“Lovely little place. Welcoming atmosphere. Food is great and plenty drinks to choose from. This place is situated right by Orrell Water Park so what better way to finish your walk than with a nice visit to the Robin Hood. They also have plenty seating outside.”

“Stayed in my camper for the night and most day. Good for dogs as well. Level car par overlooks the canal and barges. Smart parking available or free if you eat in the pub. The pub opens at 4 and it’s a lovely quiet place with relaxed atmosphere and very friendly staff. The young lad who served me was great and helpful with the menu. They did a special a pint and a pie for £10. A few homemade pies to choose from. Came with chips peas and jug of gravy. They do proper dog meals and my gsd had mash fresh carrots and peas sausages. She enjoyed it. Overall it was pleasantly surprising for me as I don’t live far and now I e hit a good place to go for a decent stop.”

“Visited here on a Sunday afternoon. We where looking for something spacious with the current pandemic and we weren't disappointed. It was relatively quiet surprisingly, and very spacious. My mum uses an electric wheelchair which was easily accommodated. You have to use the side door as there is a step accessing a lovely beer garden. This wasn't a problem for us as she can walk short distances and we where close to the door so she could still go outside to smoke once we had been seated. We where sat by the pass so got to inspect much of the food as it was being taken out, everything looked amazing. The staff where welcoming and service was quick, we had our drinks within minutes of arriving and food didn't seem to take too long either. We both opted for burgers, although once we saw the Sunday roasts agreed to try them next time. I had a chicken burger and honestly one of the nicest I've had. The chicken was cooked perfectly. My mum enjoyed her hamburger aswell, clearly all fresh ingredients. Definitely our new pub lunch place.”

“Been here several times now and it has always been excellent. Had sandwiches, jacket potato and breakfast. All are good value for money. The hot chocolate fudge cake with ice cream is delicious. Yes service is slow, but at least you know your food is freshly made. Toilets and cafe spotless. Would definitely recommend”
