    Exactly what I needed. He even used official Yale key blanks for the copies and included a card advising me to come back if there was an issue with them working. £6 for 2 Yale keys. His other prices might be a bit higher than you could get it online but this is the kind of shop you go to when you need that thing that others haven't got and you need it now. He isn't ripping you off but it is also stock that doesn't move quickly.

    I left my watch for a battery replacement only, it was a smartwatch, with 2 batteries, I told this guy not to touch the digital side, just the watch battery, after leaving it with the guy for half hour, I came back to a watch that doesn’t work, and he doesn’t know why! This guy tells me now, that he’s got to send it off, which is going to take 2 weeks, and now I’m in cloud limbo, not knowing what’s going on with my watch! So basically, in my opinion never leave your watch with this guy, as you might not get it back , working!

    Absolutely ridiculous prices and gave me a dodgy key. To then close the shop early, would avoid at all costs, the shops stinks of damp aswell and he does half a job clearly cannot be bothered and is just a money grabbing old man.

    Connie's is an excellent affordable hardware store with a top notch key cutting service and an abundance of products! This hardware store is one of the reasons that high streets need to be kept alive. The service here is personal and pleasant and the prices are locked in the past. What I paid for key cutting and some goods was around a third of what I'd have paid at a well known chain of key cutters Or mass market hardware store. I highly recommend this place for its great service and it's extremely affordable range of goods. Well done Connie's, time to start that DIY project!!!
