The girl who served me had a face like thunder , but it did not effect the Christian roll

My go to place for breakfast. Serve the best coffee and the matcha tea is amazing. Staff are lovely can’t do enough for you, always a warm welcome at perky grinders. Highly recommend.

The food is actually decent and the coffee is lovely, however one of the baristas has the absolute worst attitude I've seen in a long time, which I've noticed on 2 different occasions that I've been here. Moreorless slammed my coffee on the table without saying a word or even a smile. Then as I was on my way out, I politely said "thankyou" to her and again, no response with a rather dirty look to go with - how nice! I understand we all have bad days but there's 0 excuse to take it out on customers, specially if they're being polite. I won't be returning here for this reason alone - feels as if I've committed a crime by simply being respectful.

I won't be overly harsh and won't go lower than 3*'s because judging on the other mostly 5* reviews maybe they were just having a bad day but for what it's worth here's my experience: I've driven past here many times and the quirky name always makes me smile, also being a lover of trying independent coffee shops I thought id finally stop and give it a try. What a disappointment it turned out to be! Firstly £3.40 for a Flat White, on a retail park in Runcorn is definitely pricey, but if the quality was there (which should absolutely be the focus in small, independent shops like this) that wouldn't have been an issue. However the coffee was extremely bland! It had no depth of flavour at all other than to taste slightly over roasted and bitter. No care was taken in the pouring of the milk either to make what should of been a silky, smooth Flat White. No, it was just tipped straight in. The end result looked and tasted like a McDonald's coffee, not even a McDonald's Flat White but one of their bog-standard white coffees. Very bland and tasteless. The service was also incredibly chaotic and disorganised! I counted six people working but they were mostly just hovering around getting under each other's feet. Maybe it was just a bad day today but either way I'll give it a miss in the future.

Great cafe for breakfast food and drinks. Usually take away but the staff are always friendly.

Lovely little cafe serving drinks, breakfast, light food and meals. Small and not much seating but lovely and very clean. Cute little tea cups and tea pot. Staff were very nice and friendly. I only had gluten free toast and tea but it was very nice. Plenty of free parking. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant cafe.... Great food and good service... Proper breakfast served well and fast.... Will stop again if in the area.... Recommend for all..... Kids welcome

Nice cafe. Good prices, friendly service. Only suggestion I would make is to sell ground coffee: Perky Grinders makes it sound like you'd be a roasters/coffee sales alongside cafe service. I will be back because your Veggie breakfast includes Halloumi and looks like a very decent option!
