My very first visit here today and it is now our new lunch spot. The staff were incredibly attentive and very helpful and we were welcomed with a smile. The selection of homemade cakes on the counter was amazing and the scones are delicious. The food was served quickly and it was all hot and fresh and I can’t wait to come back and try another fantastic dish! I honestly couldn’t fault anything here today.

We dropped into the Brooke Cafe on Sunday afternoon for a bit of late launch, and glad we did. Meteorologically, the day was pretty grotty, but the atmosphere inside was anything but. Housed in part of the beautiful Norton Priory visitor reception building, the cafe, together with it's staff, (Linda and her team), is warm and welcoming. It is a light and airy space, all glass on one side, high ceilings and lovely bare roof timber beams. Although there is a great range of options on the menu, my wife decided on the broccoli, potato and kale soup, whilst as always, I was wrestling with whether to opt for soup or a tasty looking festive turkey, bacon and cranberry panini. Fortunately, Linda advised that with a "soup and sandwich" type combo deal, I could have both, perfect. Our coffees arrived first, closely followed by our meals, and I've got to say our choices were absolutely gorgeous. The name says it's a cafe - but it's much more. We're already looking forward to our next visit. Thanks, Mark & Irene.

We have been coming to this cafe for a few months and we always feel very happy. We found it by accident .. but it is a very happy find. We're veggie but there is always something that works for us. We are big fans of quiche of the day and soup of the day. The service is friendly and the food's lovely. Thanks a million.

Popped into this little café today and honestly didn’t expect that level of choice. The food selection is unreal for a spot its size! So much variety and everything cooked fresh. The staff were also ridiculously lovely, they made me feel welcome the second I walked in. Definitely somewhere I’ll be going back to!

I visited today with my parents. The older woman with short blonde hair was INCREDIBLY rude to my mum. More than once. My mum is gluten free so asked for a jacket potato as she knows it’s okay for her. My dad and I ordered the food at the counter. We asked for a jacket with tuna and cheese. That didn’t arrive so my mum asked if she could have some cheese as that’s what we ordered. The woman basically argued with us and went to get some in the end. As my mum was talking to her she just walked off mid conversation. There was also no butter with the jacket and so my mum asked again and the woman rolled her eyes and walked off without saying anything. I have worked in hospitality for years. In various roles- barista, server, and most recently a chef. Not once would I dare speak to a customer like that. I’d hate to work with this woman! This was THE WORST customer service I’ve ever had. I never bother to write reviews but this disgusted me. The food was okay, overpriced and various things we had asked for were missing or incorrect. This cafe used to be great before it changed hands.

Lovely cafe to call in on our dog walk, as we're able to sit outside. The food is excellent, tasty and good value. The cafe is spotlessly clean and staff are all very friendly too. Well worth a visit!
