   Feels very let down. Ordered fence panels Monday, delivery Thursday. Didn't turn up, driver overrun his tachograph. Rescheduled for Friday morning. 10.30 still no delivery, rang and told they are still waiting for the panels to be delivered. How on earth can you give a delivery day, knowing you haven't got the product. Disgusting. Cancelled order, went and ordered from another company and by 3.00pm the same day had goods delivered.

   One order for 10 bulk bags of gravel. Ordered 9ay at 11.22am Delivery happened just before mid day on 14th of may. Was expecting a call before delivery attempt (delivery email said driver would call when he's on the way). Not a major issue for me as I was home but might have been an issue for anyone waiting for the call. Driver was nice enough, accomodating with regards to where I wanted the bags dropped. He took care not to damage anything in my front garden. Thank you. 10 bulk bags have been delivered. Gravel seems to be of the quality one would expect for the price charged. .. and on that note, prices are amongst the best online. Would order again from this supplier

   I ordered a bulk bag of topsoil advertised as 10mm screened, but what arrived was far from what was promised. The soil was not screened at all—it contained large chunks, as well as bits of glass and tiles, making it completely unsuitable for flower beds. I also managed to cut my hand with one of the shards. Initially, I was impressed with the delivery service. The driver was friendly and even made the effort to drop the bulk bag close to my gate, which I really appreciated. However, the quality of the product itself was extremely disappointing.

   Good service, guys in the office and yard more than happy to help. Purchased a bulk bag of bark chipping mulch and quality of product have definitely dropped. Purchased for a number of years and always used to be good value and a good quality chipping. Unfortunately now over 60% of the product is now made up of green conifer frondes with very little actual bark in the mix. Would be ok for parks or forested areas but looks very out of place in residential garden. Disappointing

   Poor service Been waiting 6+ months for a ton of sand to be collected from my drive, rude and unhelpful on the phone when requiring about it being collected. Would not recommend this company to anyone. No communication skills

   Had a delivery from these guy's today.....great products and a top driver..polite and know's how to drive got my delivery up the rear of the property it's a tad tight and chris drove it up without a problem ..i can't rate this company highly enough ✊

   Second time I've bought soft sand and cement from Gills. Both occasions they were the cheapest on the web so my expectation of the service was not high but they were faultless on both occasions. Easy web ordering - took a couple of minutes, even though it was about 7pm on a Friday night They called to confirm the order/delivery first thing on the Saturday morning and offered delivery on the day. Gave me an approx. delivery time over the phone and said driver would call ahead... and he DID! (well impressed with that!) Driver was helpful, friendly, courteous and put the items exactly where I asked. All in all, top notch organisation. Having been using the likes of Wickes, B&Q etc for bulk purchases over the years, but Gills are definitely the new "Go-To" for me for this kind of stuff.
