   Visited the cafe for lunch on Friday. Marina is in a beautiful peaceful surroundings. Cafe has seating outside on2 sides, we sat outside overlooking the barges, ducks and swans enjoying the sunshine. Inside the Cafe all lovely and clean. The lady who took our order and the gentleman in the kitchen were so friendly and helpful, panini was good too,hot chocolate was excellent Lovely lunchtime break,looking forward to calling again

   Nice friendly welcome from the server. Coffee was really nice and the place itself was very clean and tidy. Lots of natural light coming through the large windows that look out into the marina. Worth a visit!

   Service was confusing as they didn’t know what was available. They got the drinks order wrong and we had to wait an age for the food. The young girls serving were very friendly though. The chef then decided to come out and shout at us for not letting her know we were coming as it was approaching lunchtime and told us to let her know in future. There won’t be a future as we won’t be returning. Well done Chef

   It was a wet and very windy day but once we had sussed out how to get through the marina security barrier we had a great hour at the cafe. The owner/manager couldn't have been more helpful. I had the best pecan pie I've ever had and the carrot cake that my friends had was top notch. We will certainly be returning - hopefully on a day with better weather so we appreciate the surroundings better.

   The Boathouse is a fabulous restaurant for great meals and drinks or just coffee and cakes. Open to the public and boaters moored on the marina.

   Was very noisy - no soft surfaces in the room. A bit crowded if someone uses a cane or wheelchair. Food was fine. Service was a bit indifferent.
