Managed to get what I needed. Staff were great. Less choice compared to their biggest competitor, but all in all a good store.
Totally disappointed with service to say the least !! Came to the store last Sunday 24th August looking for a complete shower, toilet & sink. We saw a display toilet & sink, taps & towell rail package complete which was being sold off as ex display " Perfect style what we wanted" spoke to the sales assistant about it who told me it wasn't going to be available for a few weeks . I asked if could reserve & pay for it. Which wasn't a problem, She said she would speak to the manager on Monday & give me a call back on Monday re payment & collection etc, in which she did and also said it was actually coming out this week so you can come & collect & pay at te end of this week. So I got a plumber in this morning to take out my old sink & toilet while we came to the store to collect & pay , when she only wrote the sink price down (which was more than the original price on display ?) I said what about the toilet , She replied "Oh I've sold the toilet now ??" I said we'd asked for all package. To which she replied " there's nothing I can do now". Totally disgusted . This is the 2nd time something like this has happened to us at this store. We were going to purchase a new shower, shower screen & tray too. But I think I will go elsewhere now ! Totally diabolical service ! Plus to make worse back home to NO toilet & sink in the bathroom & a a plumber waiting to fit new
I ordered paint on delivery and when I opened the box the paint had leaked (this was the couriers fault as the packaging was great). I then called the store and a man called Jack was absolutely FANTASTIC! Sorted my problem instantly and hassle free. Really appreciated how willing to help he was. THANK YOU!
First time ordering for home delivery could fault the service. Texts the evening before delivery telling me exactly what time my delivery was to be. Great delivery staff very helpful. And great product at an even better price. 10/10
Decent sized Wickes. My local is the Lichfield one but needed a specific Ronseal colour so took a drive out. Stock levels were really spot on and the range was better than I'm used to. They also carry trunking which meant I got another item ticked off the shopping list.
Went in to purchase some tiles. A few were broken upon opening them, called store and a member of staff explained the process and to just bring the broken tiles and receipt (to save me repackaging a box of 16) and they will replace them. When I got to store, the same member of staff assisted me, and I was in and out within 5 minutes, I didn't catch the staff members name, but he delivered great customer service and resolved my issue for me quickly, thank you very much.
I popped in to the Cannock branch yesterday as I needed some tools to wood stain my internal doors and I had no idea where to start. Pete helped me find every tool I needed and explained how to use each one. Thanks Pete!
Wide range of products there. Purchased an LED tube that packed in after a day. Refund given, so no problem
I went to the Cannock store to get potting compost. As the offer was for four bags I needed help to get them to the car. On arrival I couldn't find it and the staff couldn't have been more helpful or nicer. It was such a pleasure to shop here I would really recommend going here if you are not fully able to lift or carry things.
Well designed and easy to find products in this Wickes store with a light and airy feel as soon as you walk in. Customer service that I encountered was very good and is an asset to the store team.
