   I had looked online for a new kettle and wanted to see it for myself before buying. There were a range of kettles to choose from, and I could pick them up to test the weight. I chose what I wanted with ease. The sales assistant was courteous and helpful.

   Dec 2025 Another visit to Robert Dyas in Harrow. It has a great choice of products ( plus, even a wider selection of otems online! ) I bought the table top football game for my nephew - great price. Lots of things for Christmas & general everyday items & more! Staff are always friendly and helpful. Great Little shop that has everything. Some great bargains to be had..staff always helpful & friendly... Reccomended

   I needed a wireless doorbell and knew that I could get one from Robert Dyas. However, it took me a long time to locate the item I wanted as the shop had been reorganised and many products were nowhere near where I was used to finding them. This doesn't encourage customers to return!

   Usually would give Harrow, Robert Dyas 5 stars, as on my many previous visits have been assisted and served by really amicable, friendly and helpful staff. But not Saturday 04/10/25! Was met at a locked door by a female with a very unfriendly, grim face, almost not allowed into the shop, despite it not being 5.30pm ie closing time, which I pointed out to her. Fortunately, on being asked if I knew what I wanted I did, was let in and left with my purchase, pre closing time. The male staff member on the till was also unable to raise a smile, let alone a thank you! I totally appreciate it was the end of the day, but a smile costs nothing, and as a someone who is involved in the public sector, it's always good to have one on your face, even if you are in a hurry to go home!!! So my experience on this occasion was very different from the many in the past, hence the 2 stars (one of which is for the great competitive price for my purchase).

   Rude customer service from a person named Bavani. She was totally angry and shouted at us even when the manager accepted the return in 3 days. Spoiled our day and definitely she is not ready to work in a customer service environment.

   Store looks shabby and low rent and customer service from male staff member (didn't get his name) was terrible with his lacklustre attitude towards customer service. He refused to give me my weed puller I had paid for via click and collect as I forgot to bring ID. However I am in my 30s so it would have been clear to anyone who cared to look that I am over 18. I will not shop here again and very sorry to have had dealings with this store or company. Not worth the hassle.

   Generally the staff here are very nice but I just had a bad experience now with Doreen at the till. I had bought some headphones just the other day and they weren’t the correct ones, so I went to go return them. When I went to the till to ask for a return, Doreen refused and said no due to hygiene reasons. I then explained- I wasn’t told this at the time of purchase. She had then patronised me and said: “Well it’s common sense…” which was not appreciated at all. This is not how to deal with customers.

   Two excellent experiences recently: Bought a vacuum cleaner, then few days later, used their DHL drop off/collection service. On both occasions served by Dan. Hope I got his name right. Knowledgeable, helpful and friendly gentleman.
