“Dec 2025 Another visit to Robert Dyas in Harrow. It has a great choice of products ( plus, even a wider selection of otems online! ) I bought the table top football game for my nephew - great price. Lots of things for Christmas & general everyday items & more! Staff are always friendly and helpful. Great Little shop that has everything. Some great bargains to be had..staff always helpful & friendly... Reccomended”

“I have been at Screwfix for last couple of weeks for various materials as I was getting some work done locally. I can’t praise enough the wonderful team at Harrow Christchurch branch of screw fix. I call them my A team they all work so well together and individually. They go out of there way to answer your query and check what you need and give good advice. No matter how long the Que or how busy they are they treat every customer with so much respect . John helped with selection of paint. Jeff helped with the Ronseal sprayer and both of them very professional and kind. Also a shout to Roma who was very helpful as well and not forgetting Lisa and Nicky and liam always smiling and they all make you so welcome and they serve with a smile. They all seems so dedicated and enjoy there work and really go out of their way to help if not sure they check with each other. Amazing group of people. “HGV delivery to this site is a bit tight. Drive in, reverse out and tip from one side on the road. Give the company a call beforehand to check ideal time for delivery to avoid local peak traffic for the local primary/nursery school. Be considerate when parking, it's possible to leave enough room for the public to pass. Everyone was very friendly from my phone call through to delivery. Unloaded very quickly with a Reach from a friendly forkie. However, the jewel in the crown was your employee Luke. Absolutely cracking lad who took all the stress out of reversing safety back out onto the main road, keeping an eye on me, the cars and keeping the public safe at the same time whilst being clear with his signals. Top bloke! Appreciate it.”

“Brilliant service! I took a bath tap mechanism in to see if it needed replacing. (It was dripping even when turned off hard.) All it actually needed was the washer replacing, which they did for me at no extra cost. This would probably not happen at "Supermarket" places such as B&Q, Wickes, etc. who would try to sell a complete unit instead. Very much appreciated - many thanks!”

“I was a little apprehensive coming here after reading the last review but I didn’t experience anything but excellent customer service. The gentlemen who served me (tall, skinny Asian man) was amazing. He greeted me politely and asked what I needed. Even though the paint I needed wasn’t available he went out of his way to get it for me. He even mixed some for me. I will definitely be coming back here thank you so much for all your help.”

“Have been going to this store 3-4 times a week for over 3 years now. Bobby is amazing, she always helps me with my orders (mostly very large orders of over 100L with 5 or more different paint and bases). I can go collect when convenient for me and the guys at the store always help me load it up. They do have some very young staff that try very hard and are polite (albeit at times it takes a few minutes longer to process orders). I am very grateful to Bobby and her team for making my life a lot easier over the years. Thank you for all your help.”

“Just want to start off by saying I’ve been customer of Travis Perkins for many years. This branch in Paddington has to be one of my favourite. Soon as you come in you’re welcome by such lovely people who are always there to help and so lovely. The boys in the yard Ahmed, Michael, Brandon, Fred and Peter! Such lovely people and always give a hand and hard working lads! Not like when you go to other places and people don’t want to give you a hand these guys always offer to help. To top it all off once you go inside to pay you are greeted by such lovely people. Ben, Nigel, Jason, Vince, Michael, brain, Nick and the rest of the lovely staff inside. Let’s not forget the man of the hour DARRIN. Make sure you go to Darrin if you ever need any material really nice and genuine person always looking out for you and giving you the best price.
