   Booked a month in advance for a 45 minute back, neck and shoulder massage (I wanted an hour but this type of treatment wasn’t an option for that duration) to be called a couple of days before to be told the therapist is on long term sick (understandable, can’t be helped) and they wanted to rearrange my appointment. I was fine with this but then once at the salon and having the treatment, it abruptly ended after 30 minutes. I asked the therapist and she said it was in the system at 30 minutes. I showed them my booking confirmation of 45 minutes but was told there was no time available to extend the treatment due to other clients and that it must have been “the systems fault” when the appointment was moved, so what could have been a nice massage left me feeling upset and disappointed and I didn’t get the chance to wind down and came out with just as many aches and pains as I went in with. Maybe if it had been running on time then they would have been able to make up the difference. I am limited with time with a very clingy baby and won’t get the chance to go for another massage for a while now so didn’t get time to unwind and left feeling even more stressed and like I’ve wasted my money. They gave me a loyalty card but I won’t be going back.

   A welcoming warm environment from the moment I first stepped in the salon. It was my first time getting a treatment at this salon and they didn't disappoint. I had the deluxe Manicure with gel finish. My manicurist was the lovely Kristi. She was so lovely, professional and engaging and along with a head massage, paraffin wax and sugar scrub and finally beautiful gel nails. I felt well and truly pampered. I will be returning 100% Thank you Spa 493 it was a fantastic experience .

   If I could give them 10 stars I would. The girls here offer amazing service for weather you book in and they are really trying to fit everyone in and accommodate clients requests as much as possible. As a big plus for me, they offer very gentle massage and other treatments for girls younger than 16. I love the place and can't recommend it enough.

   I love going to Spa 493 and I go regularly for a spray tan and sometimes for my nails doing. These are the only two treatments I have had but they have always been perfect. Kristi is so lovely and welcoming. I'd never had a proper spray tan before going here and she made me feel really at ease. The place itself is really cosy and homely. I am regularly asked to work late and have a busy personal schedule and sometimes have to cancel or rearrange appointments and Kristi has always been very helpful and accommodating. Have recommended to loads of people.
