A great little cafe. Very popular so you may need a reservation at busy times. The atmosphere is very friendly and the staff seem to know everyone which gives it a nice sense of community. Prices are very reasonable.
Popped in for breakfast on our way to a wedding, the staff were absolutely lovely. Breakfast was speedy which was great as I was running a bit late, and both really enjoyed our meals. Really enjoyed this local café, would be popping in regularly if I lived in Chester!
The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. We stopped here for a coffee and tiffin and everyone we spoke to was lovely. A really nice space, very cosy and inviting, and great tiffin. Will definitely be back.
Fantastic breakfast in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to meet everyone's needs. There's a mixed clientele, children to elderly all welcomed. Highly recommended for a coffee and breakfast.
We went here for coffee and a brownie today. The staff were friendly, especially the Scottish woman who bakes all the cakes in the cafe! Coffee and brownies were so tasty, and everything was such good value. We were given a loyalty card, which we thought was a lovely touch. We will definitely be back !

Brown Sugar.....How come you taste so good??? We visited yesterday for a family reunion and once again had a delicious meal. The food is fresh, plentiful and the owners are so friendly and welcoming. Get yourselves down to this fantastic cafe. You won't regret!!
We popped in here for a coffee to avoid a shower and it was so good, we went back the following day for breakfast. Delicious food - the home made cakes are fabulous. It’s run by a lovely friendly couple and nothing was too much trouble. Can’t recommend this little gem enough.
