Been here a few times it's always good to support an independent outlet. Unfortunately, on more than one occasion ive been served by a mature guy, stocky frame. To say hes rude, and unwelcoming is a huge understatement. Customer service, manners, are free there is just no need bad service.
Always love coming to the Tea Rooms, Always recommend to anyone popping into chester, for coffee or a bite to eat! Can never fault the food, very filling good portions! Love supporting Chester Pride so this place is an added bonus for me :)
Visited last week while having a couple of days away in Chester. The service was friendly, the food arrived nice and quickly and was such great quality. I couldn’t believe that a large full English was less than £10!!! Will definitely be back.
Stopped by for lunch and dined al fresco. Staff are super friendly and the food was good and very filling and reasonably priced. If you’re a “member of the family” make sure you stop by to support. Definitely will be back again!
On a day out in Chester we stumbled upon Rainbow Tea Rooms. Just looking for a drink and a sandwich we both decided on the high tea as it looked like good value. Wow was it good value! Fresh sandwiches made to order, and a fresh warm scone. All presented beautifully. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience, all very friendly and accommodating, we will be back again and have already recommended to others.
I loved this place. Called in with my friends on a weekend away & found this gem! Lovely food, drinks, lots of choice for veggies & vegans ( so rare!). Staff were fab & best cup of tea in Chester. Highly recommend xx
What a lovely little cafe! Right in the centre of Chester, this small cafe serves some great breakfast food and a good cup of coffee, at very reasonable prices. Excellent staff members were attentive and very friendly, too. It was difficult to leave though - the music was superb and kept us there for longer than we'd intended!
Our first visit here and overall pretty good but needs to be a little slicker. Our order was given and twice the waitress returned to confirm details we had already given. Food selection was a little lacking due to it being bank holiday Monday and a lot of options had run out. We couldn't have the ploughman's option which sounded really good & chicken and ham options had also run out. What we did choose arrived quickly and was tasty, nice quality and well priced. We did however have to ask for mayonnaise to go with the side salad, also no cutlery was supplied with the food. We were then advised that they would return shortly with some serviettes but these never arrived. Also to note was apparently there was no toilet paper in the ladies toilet. Overall we would give it another try but it just needs a little more attention to detail to make the overall experience more professional.
Lovely little gay tea shop. Im so glad I spotted it on my way past this morning. They just opened last week so i hope as they get into the swing of things they expand their menu a bit, add some eggs and things. But for now they had a couple of tasty sounding options. They had gluten free bread and crumpets. The GF crumpet was very tasty!
Absolutely brilliant little space in the heart of Chester! Considering it was opening day and was really busy all staff were super attentive. Food and drinks were brilliant and all incredibly priced!
