   I used to come here frequently but in the past month especially this café has gone down hill, and the experience is grim. There doesn't appear to be a regular manager running this place now and it shows. Coffee is served only in take away cups because the dishwasher is broken, has has been for about 3 weeks. There are no plates in used, so food, cakes etc, are served in paper bags when you eat in. Obviously not enough staff on the rota to cope with busy periods, sometimes only 2 staff, resulting in long queues and dirty tables. The previous occupants cups and debris are left on the tables because of this, and customers have to remove these themselves if they want to sit, so they get piled up on one table. The tables aren't wiped down when the cups are removed, so there is food and crumbs still on the table surface, and some upholstered chairs need a deep clean, as they have ingrained dirt and stains. The staff are pleasant enough, but they look as if they are under constant pressure due to understaffing at busy times, I've been in when there has been a 15 to 20 minute wait due to this. And some customers get a bit grumpy about this, understandably. Especially when you then get your food in a bag and your coffee in a takeaway cup. Some staff need a reminder or training on food hygiene principles, since this is not applied consistently, or followed by all staff. (I work in Environmental Health and I wont be returning after my latest visit).

   Firstly, their dishwasher was broken (which it has been for several months now) but we where not told so when the drinks arrived they where in cardboard cups. My grandad can't drink properly out of a paper cup so he took it back and WAS given a proper cup. Secondly, the cappuccino was 25% Coffee and 75% foam. The frappochino wasn't made very well and was lumpy and full of unrushed ice. They did however make another and it was lovely.

   Stopped here for a chill with the family and a coffee. We'll start with the drinks. Coffee was average at best. Got a maple coffee with sprinkles on top. Could have counted the sprinkles with one hand and coffee was poor. My daughter got a berry smoothie which was watery and mostly froth. The person serving us maybe had an off day but being in hospitality the least you would expect is a thank you or maybe even a smile (Even if it's forced). As I said maybe an off day but the server couldn't look less interested. The tables were sticky and the toilets were minging with a heavy scent and toilet roll all over the floor. Bit disappointing tbh and wouldn't return. We were at their competitors the day before and the hole experience was like day and night different.

   Latte was lovely but table hadn't been cleaned after previous customer and no one appeared to be checking. Fortunately my friend had some wipes.

   I go here a lot and the place is always clean and tidy and the (sometimes) queues are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Coffee is great as usual.

   Uninspiring coffee shop just like a string of others, experience one you've done them all. It is a pity the staff working in these places aren't allowed to stamp their mark on their workplace thus producing the shops own identity rather than follow a corporate mould.

   Stopped for a quick break, coffee and a teacake! Only one member of staff on but took it in her stride and very pleasant as was getting busy.
