   I brought a kitchen from Howdens in Kidderminster back in January they recommended a trademan. However 9 months later the fridge freezer has caused a dangerous power failure and we can not get behind it to isolate the socket. I have phoned Howdens as still under guarantee and they don't want to know. I'm now without a fridge freezer and unable to find anyone to remove the cabinet the fridge freezer is in as fitted. Costing me more money. I would NOT recommend Howdens in Kidderminster!

   On the whole the Howdens units are fine but the Lamona sink is rubbish. Within two days the stainless steel had scratched. I took this matter up with Howdens who said they were not prepared to do anything about it. I spoke to their customer services and after quite a few promises to call back I chased them up and the young lady there said basically sinks are for display only !!!!!!!!!!!! The only option I have is to bear with my scratched sink or they will sell me another one at a greater discount, and offer I have refused. As I fail to see why I should be out of pocket and have to pay my builder to fit it again. At no time did Howdens say stainless would scratch (not a problem I have met with any sink I have had before) and then to be told I should put a tea towel over the sink, how am I supposed to do that inside the bowl filled with water and washing up liquid. Would not recommend anyone to purchase a Lamona Sink
