   Avoid! Short version - paid for a service and repair to my ride on mower. Machine was left unworking and leaking petrol. Had to pay another company to put right. Was told to order parts myself and left to it after paying almost £500 Long version - Ride on mower stopped working. First I contacted Ashley for a call out repair. I then changed this to a full service and repair which would be a collection of the machine. Mower was collected and returned and informed it was fully tested and working again. I only tried to start the mower after delivery which was about a week later. Machine failed to start and then started leaking fuel (which was not previously happening). I was then charged for a call out as was advised "its a new issue" even though the mower had only returned from a service and repair 5 days earlier. Anyway, so I paid again and was informed that the solenoid had gone and needed replacement as well as the battery. So I agreed to this and both parts were replaced. Mower still had issues and then I was informed I needed a new PCB that I would have to order to get resolved myself. When I contacted a different company to do the repair, they advised that the solenoid was fitted wrong, and most likely there was no issue with the PCB. So not only was I left in the lurch with a non working machine having paid several hundred pounds for repairs, but the repairs done were not correct or done right and then I was effectively abandoned to sort it out myself. Just to close this out - as a customer what I would have expected is to do the right thing and make it right. That didn't happen, so choose your mower repair company wisely, where they do the right thing and have the knowledge and expertise to do the job and not make guesses about the problem and keep billing you for their guess work!

   Really glad I stopped by the new Robbins store in Measham. They’ve got a great range of stuff — DIY paints, tools, and all the way up to lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, and proper high-quality gear. They also stock camping bits like blue and pink toilet fluids, plus pet food, outdoor clothing, cycling parts, and footwear. I was helped by a lovely woman called Sue Banton, who couldn’t have been nicer. She showed me around, explained what they’ve got, and was really friendly throughout. What’s good to know is they also repair and service machinery like lawnmowers and petrol trimmers, so it’s worth bringing your old kit in rather than throwing it out. They’ve even got a café on site, which I haven’t tried yet, but I’ll give it a go next time and update this review. Prices seemed very fair too — definitely competitive. I’ll be back for sure.

   Recently opened and full of good stuff bought a fantastic wheel barrow at excellent prices! Has everything in store and even a cafe with tea coffee and full English brekkys worth a visit very friendly staff and helpful!
