Felt grubby, tables were dirty and sticky, coffee didn’t taste like coffee at all( I ordered an ice latte and it tasted like watered down milk ). When I went to use the toilet another customer told me not to bother as they were minging. I was there for a meeting for 2 hours and not once did a member of staff wipe any tables

The lady behind the counter (with curly hair) was very rude. She didn’t even bother to greet customers and was busy chatting with her friend. She looked so reluctant in taking people’s orders. The gentleman on the other hand, the trainee barista I believe, was warm and friendly. Please train your staff to be more polite and respectful.

Part of my (General!) Coffee review series This Nero is perfectly situated in Bold Street, perfect for when you need a pit stop after trying the shops along the way (Resurrection and Pop Boutique are my personal recommendations). Staff are lovely and there's plenty of seating, plus air conditioning is the perfect temperature for summer. Would recommend!

Absolutely loved the calm and peaceful vibes of this cafe! I also tried their salted caramel pistachio frappe (5 ⭐️) and their honey oat iced latte (4 ⭐️). They have a really great summer menu and I am definitely coming back for trying new summer drinks and to also just work and chill

Destroyed my day. Such a shame for Nero to have a manager like she is.

The drinks were fine, but the service is equal to Karen's diner,( they are rude purpuelsy anyway) because the service was horribly rude. The red haired woman with glasses were the worst, as far as I knlw she is the manager of this Coffee, what is a shame, I really feel sorry for her staff, she didn't like to give the free drink after the 10 th purchase, then Nero should remove this buy 9 the 10 th is free deal. They were reluctant to serve the drinks and they were very arrogant after they saw my free drink voucher. They spoke behind my back after I was about to go, but they made sure I am a hearable distance. It's really ridiculous.

Stopped by for breakfast with my dad and then stayed on to work upstairs. I was pleasantly surprised. The coffee was decent and having a vegan croissant was a real plus. There were two staff members working (21/2/23 8:30-11:30am). A young man and a young lady (she had some great tattoos!) Both of them were really polite and friendly. Nothing was any trouble. The place was clean, no cups or trays on any tables ans the bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Really good experience.

Visit this store regularly but seems to have gone down hill recently. A few of the staff members are uninterested and honestly quite hostile. I witnessed one female staff member shout at a customer because a pram was near a fire exit. I’ve seen staff wearing their own clothes, using phones rather than serving customers or cleaning up what is quite often a dirty store. Past few weeks they’ve also started being messy with customer orders (not following the right barista methods) and I’ve had to ask for a fresh coffee a couple of times. I will often choose Cafe Nero over the other chains as they make good coffee and have excellent service. Not the case here.

The lady that performs here has just about the most positive attitude you may ever experience. Joyful, cheerful, enthusiastic. Makes enjoying a coffee that much more uplifting! Seating upstairs is tranquil and offers a nice outside view to boot. 2 unisex restrooms allow for convenience.
