The worst customer service I ever experienced. The manager/supervisor in charge ignored me, served other customers why I was in the queue, I just wanted to collect my item which was a very simple job. No one looks happy in this store.
I was there yesterday afternoon Robert Dyas Kensington High Street. One of my favourite shops that I shop from them in store or online for more than a decade, but this was my first time meeting this stuff who is the rudest person I have ever met, When I was trying to return an item delivered broken. He refused to serve me with my returns saying he couldn't see any broken to the item and when I showed him, He accused me of that I broke it. I was shocked by his behaviour and his bad attitude. I asked the other two guys who were the only ones in the store, but there're not helpful at all, one kept saying he's in charge and the other one just ignored me. I was so disappointed that I had to carry back the item box that he tore.
I ordered a fan online to collect as the website told me I could collect the item today. It has been very hot this week in the city and so fans are selling out in many shops. I travelled 3 hours on the boiling tube to collect the item after work, only for staff to tell me that they don’t have the item. Please sort the communication between website orders and in store stock out. I will never shop Robert Dyas again.
The expression is stiff and the checkout is slow. There can be 3 people in the till but they are just talking and chattering outside. I waited in line for more than 10 minutes and told the cashier that I waited too long, but she ignored me and had an extremely scary face as if something bad had happened and didn't say a word. I want to ask why you work here. Work with a smile. It's too serious. There is no answer no matter what the customer asks. Next time if this person is checking out I will line up somewhere else. It was so scary.
I had a frustrating experience today trying to return an item, and the sales associate was arguing with me. I made it very clear what my experience was using the product and said that it's not faulty, I'd rather just buy a brand that is faultless. He seemed adamant to prove to me that the product was fine. This should have been a seamless experience and I'm appalled to be quite frank.
Terrible. They have a DHL drop off point but none of the employees actually know how to use it.
A but pricey but some prices for goods in store have been slashed. The shop is always nice and clean and spacious enough for prams, trolley baskets, buggies. No bikes. One of the most helpful customer services Stores you can find. Pure household and housewares and gardening goods sold inside.
My mum bought a fan last week. There is something wrong with the fan when it oscillate it slows down the speed of the propeller. The guy named PAUL said that it can’t be refunded cos it’s already been used. How on earth if we will know if the item has something wrong if you won’t try it. RUBBISH customer service if only i can complain this situation to the higher authority then i will do it. We have the right as a consumer but it didn’t work out for this guy named PAUL. Zero star is suitable for him he is not HELPFUL AT ALL
Absolutely terrible customer service experience I had yesterday in Roberts Dyas Kensington High Street. Store supervisor Paul was very rude, when I came with broken item for exchange. He was just trying to get rid of me, instead of explaining decently or even advicing something. Thankfully, the nice customer who was standing next to us, heard our conversation and kindly gave me some advice, how to deal with the item. But store supervisor Paul was extremely rude and unhelpful. Wouldn't like to come back to this shop again.
Me & fam have been going to RD KenHS all our lives, usually helpful+friendly staff, well priced stock + wide range of essentials, super convenient. Ticks all the boxes. Keep the high street & community incl. local businesses alive, shop here instead of Amazon for a change ;) you might like it better!
