   Very disappointed with Howdens. The only reason we didn’t go with DIY Kitchens was because Howdens told us the kitchen could be supplied in one week. In reality, delivery took nearly three weeks, causing delays to our renovation. Had this been communicated honestly, we could have waited one extra week for a superior product elsewhere. The delays were compounded by an incorrect cabinet being sent, which should never have happened. There were also specification and design issues. The pull-out larder mechanism supplied was not what was discussed or agreed in the initial design meeting, and there was no internal cutlery drawer mechanism in the deep drawers — despite specifically asking about this and being told it was included. Not having proper cutlery storage is a basic functional failure in a kitchen. The design process itself was also poor. After we came in and agreed the design, elements were later changed and obvious layout issues were missed. For example, the bar area has a cabinet on the perpendicular wall next to it, which restricts its use as an actual bar. Communication and aftercare were the most frustrating part. I was repeatedly told issues were being “sorted,” when in reality nothing was progressing. There was little to no response when chasing problems. We paid a premium expecting professional design, accurate supply, and proper aftercare. Unfortunately, those expectations were not met. I would not recommend Howdens based on our experience. I reccomend DIY kitchens for a superior product at the same price point. Theyll also be honest about delivery timescales.

   Pre sales very communicative but after sale and money handed over communication ceased and they were unwilling to assist with the few problems that needed resolving and did not answer calls or call back. In the end we had to approach the manager to get assistance. The manager offered to help to source and order the parts we needed from our more local branch for us to collect but after three days he still had not made this simple phone call stating he was too busy. We attended our local branch in potters bar who have assisted us. I recommend going to potters bar branch if you want a howdens kitchen unless you want zero after service. Also staff did not inform me that i would need to purchase the lamona extractor fan from them due to the cupboard it would be housed it being very narrow. When explained to them I would purchase the extractor from another company they did not warn me of this. This lead to us purchasing an extractor fan that did not fit and due to the time between ordering and fitting we are no longer able to return it leaving us out of pocket £160. I will be taking this up with head office as the manager has refused to reimburse.

   A Huge Thank You to the Howdens Colindale Team! I just wanted to say a massive thank you to the incredible team at Howdens Colindale for all their help and support throughout my kitchen planning and design journey. There were a lot of moving parts (mostly due to my own indecisiveness!), but having such a knowledgeable and patient team made all the difference. Josh, in particular, has been absolutely brilliant — endlessly patient, full of creative ideas, and always ready with suggestions I wouldn’t have thought of myself. Later on, Marie and Jay also stepped in with fantastic support, and I’m so grateful for their help in keeping everything on track. I even had the pleasure of meeting Pete, the branch manager, who was just as lovely and welcoming as the rest of the team. Thank you all for making what could have been a stressful process feel so much easier and even enjoyable. I’m genuinely so appreciative!

   We just changed our kitchen and decided to get a Howdens kitchen - Chelford Ivory. The cabinets are a great quality and they fit a lot of things, much more than our previous kitchen! We had a great service from Howdens Colindale and Marie was absolutely amazing! The kitchen got delivered really quickly and we had lots of help and support for its installation.

   I want to say a BIG thank you to Vee for helping me get my refund. It was my second trip there. He made it so easy. Very knowledgeable on all the items and the way things work. The only thing is that he did not have authorisation to refund my items so it made it for one more trip back there, although, he has been there many years there should always be one person there that can refund I spent £3000 there so there should be no going back and forth

   So my order was all mixed up, i am lucky that i went there and checked about my delivery, after i realised my order was wrong, i was speaking to a lady that knows nothing about anything and she was speaking on a foreign language with her coworker, i spent 2 hours over thee talking to her about something she knows norhing about. Very bad experience and wouldn recomend to anyone
