   Decided to try somewhere new. Good fast table service. Food was excellent. Loved the winter drinks. Cafe was clean and tidy. Our only comment was it felt bit bland decoration and being a botanic cafe we thought there would be more foliage or colour. Just something to feel more like a garden. We recommend as everything waa lovely but maybe more decoration

   It was very busy when we visited but staff were quickly clearing and cleaning tables so were soon seated. Our order was taken promptly and the food was delivered quickly. Food was very good and pot of tea had enough for two cups each. Highly recommended.

   Lovely cafe, food is always delicious. Staff are friendly. The cafe is dog friendly but only in outside space, which unfortunately does not have a cover so unusable in winter, rain or too sunny. The inside cafe chairs are uncomfortable and spoil the look of the cafe; they make it feel like a staff canteen which is a great shame.

   Very poorly trained staff . Ignored at counter, eventually told to take a table and a waitress would come to take our order, 3 came, cleared nearby tables and ignored us. After being ignored for a further time we left. None were friendly or helpful. Very disappointed. Yes I'm happy to call waitress during a meal, but if you're sat at an empty table it doesn't take much nouse to think people are waiting to order.

   Visited gardens with my sister and a friend. Such a lovely place to spend time, enjoying the variety of plants on a beautiful day. We also stopped for a light lunch. The staff were very friendly, helpful, welcoming and efficient. The food we ordered was hot when it was delivered to our table, a good portion and enjoyed by our party. The gardens closed at 5pm but the pleasant surprise was that you are able to stay and enjoy the gardens and exit through a side gate. There was no access to the shop, or main building after 55pm. Well worth a visit, especially if you are a garden enthusiast.
