“We’ve just had an incredible meal. I tried the wagu ribeye which is a great recent(ish) addition to the menu - highly recommended. Our waitress was the lovely Abbie who was as very attentive and made us giggle. Thanks Abbie and team for a great post-shopping dinner!”

The outdoor village layout is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, making for a really pleasant shopping experience. “We didn’t eat here we went for the sunflower maze. The maze was beautiful and the flowers were in full bloom. But it could be quite expensive for a family. It’s £5 per person to go in the maze and a £1 per stem if you pick the sunflowers. It’s a gorgeous place with a cafe, animals and you can pay to go on a little train to take you to the start of the maze. (It’s only a short journey ).”

“We've just had a lovely breakfast at the Cheshire Yeoman. Quality ingredients cooked to perfection and well presented. The background music was good and just the right level. Our waitresses, Lucinda was friendly, helpful and very efficient. We'll be back.”

“I walked in with my partner on Friday afternoon looking for Chinos. He was fed up as everywhere we had been they didn't have his size. The assistant straight away found his size in two different pairs and chose a shirt for him. He was so pleased we were only in there 15 minutes and he was sorted. Excellent service we will definitely be back thank you”

“Good location, next to Cheshire Oaks whilst avoiding the busyness of the crowds. Nobody inside when we went in, staff were nice and quick. Did have the wrong size drink but the nice lady quickly corrected, easy mistake to make. Very clean inside the store too, no litter outside, no overflowing bins. Outdoor seating was great for a Costa.”

“Great value pub grub, they do non alcoholic pitchers for £5.99 and 2 for £12.99 mains. Trifle baked Alaska was nice and tangy. Don't forget blue light card for 15% off food if you have it. Ordering from the app was easy. Food came out hot and quick. Cheap and cheerful.”

“Had a great experience at TGI Fridays today! I ordered the beef tortillas, pasta and fries everything was delicious. Our server Sophie was amazing, so friendly and attentive. It was my birthday and the team made it really special with a free cake, a cute balloon hat and a fun birthday song! Great atmosphere and great service. Highly recommend!”

“Good French food. I had the duck with cherry sauce and the café Gourmand. Very nice, service isn't fast but they cook food to order. Staff are helpful and the toilets are clean with nice toiletries. Great for foodies, maybe not the best place if you need to refuel fast and get back to the bargains. Good tip to check on their website before you go, I got a voucher with 30 percent off. And check when you order, it may not cover everything. Beautiful food.”

“We ordered a buffet for my birthday, had our (grown up) children and our grandchildren around to celebrate with us. We'll picked the £7.50 a head option which included savouries as well as sandwiches. It did not disappoint, everyone was very complimentary about the food, so much that we will be ordering again.”

“Ignore the negative nelly reviews here. Opening times stated clearly.. however be prepared for no real food like chips, burgers, etc. this is for snacks & drinks. So we had pasty, sausage roll, and two teas. Shame teas are in cardboard cups rather than returnable mugs. Food nice and we’ll definitely be back!!! Lady’s nice that work here. Ps Pre/packaged gluten free cakes & crisps.”

“Always love the café at Theatre Porto, staff are lovely and the food is delicious and fresh. Really enjoyed the lunch served at yesterday's Slow Stitching workshop, particularly the very tasty sweet potato and chickpea tart and divine black forest cheesecake!! “Eggs Benedict was delicious, asked for the Hollandaise sauce on the side as I haven’t had it before but wanted to try, once I actually had a taste of it it was lovely and smoothed the rest of the meal in it. My wife loved the blueberry and banana pancakes. The strawberry and banana smoothie really good and the raspberry and coconut latte was really lovely. The cake carrots are really nice, the icing is a bit sweeter than I would usually have but still really delicious. Lovely place will visit again.”

“I visited SW with 2 girlfriends this week. They have a new Chef - Luke and a new menu. The best restaurant meal I have had in Chester it was delicious. Great menu - I started with steak tartare followed by the monkfish in lobster sauce. All beautifully prepared and presented the flavours were perfection. The staff were wonderful. Attentive without being intrusive. We had a fantastic evening. Would highly recommend.”

“Good menu choices, meal was of good quality and plentiful. The desserts were delicious, with my adult granddaughter saying it was the best chocolate fudge cake she had ever tasted. My raspberry bakewell tart and custard was the best I've ever tasted. At least four cask beers on offer and good lager choice as well. Service was exceptional being both friendly and attentive.”
