Purchased a raspberry tart to eat following a positive visit to the store. However when I went to tuck in there was mould growing on a few of the raspberries YUK

Eggs Benedict was delicious, asked for the Hollandaise sauce on the side as I haven’t had it before but wanted to try, once I actually had a taste of it it was lovely and smoothed the rest of the meal in it. My wife loved the blueberry and banana pancakes. The strawberry and banana smoothie really good and the raspberry and coconut latte was really lovely. The cake carrots are really nice, the icing is a bit sweeter than I would usually have but still really delicious. Lovely place will visit again.

Patisserie Valerie had its ups and downs during my visit. While the food was acceptable, it didn't quite live up to my expectations of a self-proclaimed patisserie. I found the prices to be quite high, especially as the quality wasn't reflective of the price. The wait time was also a bit of an issue. Despite being second in the queue, it took a long time before I was able to speak to the cashier and get seated. However, the staff were friendly and helpful. I would say that Patisserie Valerie is a decent option if you're looking for a quick bite or something sweet. However, if you're expecting a truly exceptional patisserie experience, you might want to look elsewhere. There are certainly better options in close proximity.

Came in for an afternoon tea, not the cheapest at nearly £36 for two people… food came quickly but drinks took an age….. sandwiches and cakes were good, scones were warm but 4 scones were served with 2 pots of jam and one small, half filled pot of cream…. We used up the cream on the first two scones and when we asked for more we were told we had to pay extra for more cream!? A bit of a cheek considering the price! Waitress was very apologetic and told us that she agreed it wasn’t right but the management won’t let her give us any more cream! Sort yourselves out! Scones left on the plate if anyone wants them…. however….. they are a little dry without the cream! We won’t be back……

Staff were super lovely, but breakfast was dismal. Very expensive for what amounted to two bone dry pieces of wholemeal toast, microwaved poached eggs, and a smear of avocado. Butter sachets were provided, but unsure what we were expected to do with them. Butter the underside maybe? Very odd.

A very beautiful cake and delicious icing. Arrived when the emails said within the hour and really fresh. You do have to order the day before and defrost in the fridge for 24 hours which we did luckily. What can I say, we devoured it within the day!

i can't thank these girls enough. My wedding cake (made elsewhere) collapsed and was a soggy mess the morning of my wedding. I was able to purchase 3 beautiful cakes, at an amazing price. The cakes were lovely, the staff fantastic, any occasion cakes will be purchased from here in the future. They were just amazing, outstanding customer service. Thank you, you saved my day

I ordered a blue candy stripe cake from the cheshire oaks shop last week. I arranged to collect the cake on 3rd August for my sons 21st birthday so we could give it to him on 4th as he opened his gifts that morning . Firstly I went to Collect the cake as arranged and was told it hadn't been delivered and was asked to go back later and they would call me to confirm it had been delivered. Later that afternoon they phoned and I was told there had been a mistake and the cake wouldn't be delivered until the 4th before 3pm. On the 4th I received a phone call at 1.20pm to say the cake had been delivered but it was frozen! We arranged for me to collect it later that afternoon to give it time to defrost. I collected it around 4pm and brought it home. There were small pools of water on top of the cake and the small blue sugar balls, the dye had run off them, there were also pools of blue water on the cake board. The macaroons were soft and not crisp, and there were 2 dents in the side of the cake. I went to Cut the cake at 7pm and the centre was still frozen! We have ordered cakes from them in the past and have never had all these problems before, we are hugely disappointed with the service we've received. Ended up getting full refund, and will never shop here again, and family and friends have said the same after seeing the cake.
