   When we moved we knew having a gaff walking distance from this Derek's was a must. Anybody who visits us gets a trip, most insist on it now. When I'm on holiday I get emotional at the thought of returning to Derek's and securing the goods (Iced caramel, grinder, extra grinder sauce cause I'm not soft). The staff are so lovely and sound. Best iced carame lattel in Liverpool by far, and the best sandwich in the North West at a minimum.

   I'd give this place 6 stars if I could. Went for the first time earlier today and thought it was tremendous. Superb, delicious food and excellent value for money. Can't recommend highly enough.

   Flippin love Dereks! Amazing sandwiches and the best coffee (from Crosby Coffee which is the best) Always served quick and never rushed out. Easy to access with baby in pram and has fold down baby change even though toilets are not massive. Bit pricey but totally worth it for a treat, great quality and big portions. Super tasty!

   Visited after early morning Crosby beach walk with the dog. Surroundings were spotless and modern. I ordered a Rubenstein and americano. Both were served hot and prompt. Sandwhich was packed with pastrami and pickles and cheese on a toasted bun. It was beautiful. Would deffo recommend and will be returning to try something different.

   Lovely staff , amazing food , so happy it opened up in Crosby . You can see and taste the difference from a run of the mill poshed up sandwich from an overpriced cafe. This is proper deli sandwiches, done right .

   I don't normally leave reviews but just had the Rubenstein sandwich from Derek's and it was truly exceptional. I'm originally from the US and am always suspicious of places in the UK that style themselves as American because they usually end up being a disappointing imitation - but this was the real deal! Yes £8 for a sandwich is pretty steep but you get what you pay for. Everything about the sandwich was on point - even down to the actual dill pickles. Never been anywhere in the UK with proper American-style dill pickles - I nearly cried! Service was prompt and friendly too. Living down the road from Derek's, I'm genuinely now concerned for my waistline and pocketbook. Can't wait to try everything else on the menu.
