   The repair man was friendly enough, but £99.54 call out later and I've still got a non-functional microwave, with a parts bill that would have come to £400 if I actually wanted it repaired...I could get a new one of the same model for under £300! I tried being environmentally conscious and repairing what I have, but this experience means I'll just dump old appliances and buy new ones in future rather than shelling out for a "repair". edit: Apparently Glotech had no way of knowing if the visit would be a waste of time, but the engineer said that as soon as he heard the make and model and the issue, he had a feeling that it was not going to be a positive outcome. So maybe Glotech should consult with their engineers, providing job details before appointing them?

   Daniel from Glotech assessed my hob initally and found the fault. Once I was quoted for the part and additional labour as a second engineer needed to assist Daniel with taking the hob out of the worktop and placing it back in, I had decided to instruct them to do the work. Once the part arrived Daniel and his colleague attended the next day as booked in by his colleague at the office. They repaired the hob quickly. They were both very professional and did exactly what was requested. All the team including the admin/office staff were very helpful. I would highly recommend this company if you want a professional and responsive company. The initial price includes any further visits needed to get the job done. The only additional cost was the part and the second engineer who assisted Daniel on the day of the repair. My hob is an expensive brand that is not easy to find an alternative replacement due to the down draft extraction so it was well worth paying to have it repaired by professionals as the replacement price would have been far more.

   We had Terry come over to fix our washing machine, and he was absolutely fantastic! He arrived promptly, diagnosed the issue straight away, and had it fixed in less than 15 minutes. Very friendly, polite, and clearly knowledgeable about his work. It’s so refreshing to meet someone who is both professional and personable. Highly recommend Terry for any appliance repairs!

   This is company is fraud and theives. They will take a £100 to inspect the appliance, then they will tell spare parts required, then you will pay for spare parts waiting for someone to come on time but no one will come. They are money takers and never respect their appointments . THEIEVS, THEIVES

   New appliance installation still not done, it’s been over 2 weeks . I am trying to cancel the order but not able to do so. Constantly calling them only to be kept on long holds and then transferred from one department to the other. Pathetic . Not professional at all.

   Great service. They found me the perfect fridge in the right size and colour. Delivery guys were very helpful and efficient. They changed the cable as the manufacturers now design goods with very short cables. Have used Glotech for over 25 years. Highly recommend.

   Ordered a kitchen chimney extractor hood from Glotech, with fast track next day delivery. Item got misplaced in transit and was delivered two days later after I had booked time off from work to take delivery on day one. On delivery the packaging was in an appalling state, outer boxing was open at all ends and looked to be water damaged. Upon removing the item from the “packaging” the item partially glass was smashed, leaving glass all over my hallway floor whilst my 2 year old son was stood next to me. I contacted glotech to report the issue and sent them photo evidence. They ensured me that the item was going to be collected and that a full refund had been issued. Several days later after having to store this dangerous item in my family home a courier turned up with giving any notice to collect the damaged item but refused to collect it due to health and safety reason for the smashed glass. So yet again I was left with this item in my property. Glotech left me with no explanation as to the next steps but eventually turned up themselves to collect the item with again no notice. After 7 days refund still not received, contacted them today and it has still not be issued so again yet more lies from the customer support staff after being told over a week ago it had been issued. Still waiting for the refund, not happy with the customer service after care or delivery and will not be using again.

   Your business model looked perfect. Your on line booking was fantastically easy, your staff arrived on time and were very professional and friendly. The fact that your call out fee covered fitting the parts made me feel very comfortable. However I new what needed changing, I had consulted professionals on the cost so I was anticipating a charge of around £200 depending on who you bought your parts from I was prepared to go higher. Your representative came up with£700 so ended up doing nothing and it cost £80 to do it. It could have been a very different experience of you had not got greedy. If regulations change and we have the right to repair a good business model will put you in a great position but you need to test your clients with some respect. Was it because I was a women????.
