   I am an Australian visiting family and was on the hunt for a quality coffee. Came across this lovely bespoke cafe, walking distance from our family’s place. By far the best coffee in Heswall! Was also provided colouring for our children without even asking. Very thoughtful. Will be coming here probably every day til we leave.

   You know there are times when money just doesn't matter. I have a friend who passed away and the way I was treated by Sarah and Dawn was completely first class just having a cup of tea and some toast was a warm reminder that there are some truly lovely people in the world.    I've been a loyal customer of Copper Leaf (and its previous name Porcellis) and loved their pesto chicken toasted sandwiches. Today I visited, and ordered 3 x chicken pesto toasted sandwiches. I asked how long it would be and was told they would jump on it straightaway. Perfect; except after 10 minutes was told they had no pesto and had already started cooking the chicken. The only alternative was mayo or sweet chilli?!? We agreed to mayo...and waited a further 15 minutes...25 minutes in total. When I asked how much longer it would be, I was treated with contempt and informed that "we're not a takeaway" and "it's home cooked food". Perhaps stop promoting a takeaway menu and accepting takeaway orders. I've added my own pesto Copper Leaf and you've lost a loyal customer; not because of your food but because of how you treat customers. Is this why there is always staff vacancies....??

   Excellent service wonderful, dog friendly cafe staff are very helpful and friendly service with a smile got a cheese and ham omelette delicious homemade and had orange and yoghurt cake it was delicious defoe be back. Flukes enjoy it as well woof. Xx

   Lovely cafe with friendly service. Takeaway hot drinks and chocolate brownie were lovely and a really reasonable price. You even get a free mini biscuit with your drinks which was also delicious. We'll be back very soon!
