Only the tall white guy was interested in helping me while all the South Asian guys were too busy chatting and standing in one area of the store. Even the Asian guy who went to the till ignored when I made eye contact. They should be in different areas pf the store standing and asking customers if they need help not facing one another just talking to themselves without a care about the customers.

I would just like to thank Jawad who served me on Sunday. I was collecting my camera and he was very informative and reassuring about purchasing insurance helping me come to a decision so 10/10 service from him. However, upon entering the store the person at front with the green happy to help vest wasn’t very pleasant and helpful i needed directions on where to collect my order and he just pointed to the front with no customer service helpfulness, no smiling, no actual directions he just pointed at the front i didn’t know where exactly to go at the front since there’s many sections and had to ask someone else again. that customer service wasn’t really good i’ll be honest he could’ve been nicer

I went to this Currys PC to buy new headphones. They were located upstairs. After I made my choice, I took one of the papers with the code downstairs to the cashier(just like advertised on site), only to be sent upstairs because the headphones are upstairs. I was told I could ask one of the members of staff upstairs to help me. There were only two members of staff upstairs and they were busy. There were four members of staff downstairs doing completely nothing. I went upstairs and waited in the queue for about ten more minutes. Both of them were still busy and the queue was getting longer. I finally went to the cashiers downstairs, only to be sent upstairs again because the members of staff from downstairs were refusing to go upstairs to get the headphones box wherever they store it for me because of pure laziness. Four members of staff doing absolutely nothing for at least twenty minutes. Is it one unified shop or so you separate by categories, and customers can only pay by categories or floors??? Anyway, I gave them the paper woth the code and left. I ended up buying a better value pair of headphones at John Lewis, and guess who came to help me with a great big smile and pure professionalism? A member of staff who was not even in charge of the audio/headphone section, but she was happy to help me! I was going to buy those headphones and come back next week to get the XBOX fridge and a heater, probably a few more items until Christmas, but after having the unfortunate encounter with those members of staff yesterday around 19:00, I am not coming back to this shop.

I will not recommend this store especially the customer service. I went to collect my order today 15/10/2025. This is the second time I use this store to collect something that I've ordered. However this second experience was extremely poor. I went to the collection point or pay here desk whatever you want to call it. I was first on the queue and to be served next. A girl who was with long blond highlights hair who works in the store came and decided to take over the desk. Without acknowledging me she pointed to 2 guys behind me who were waiting so they are 2nd in the queue to come forward. I looked at her she didn't even acknowledge me even with eye contact to say something. I was just a ghost to her. When her colleague approached to serve me I told him that I was 1st in the queue and she just completely ignored me. He apologised and told me that he will speak with her. I told him it's not his fault so to apologise on her behalf. She heard and asked what's the problem? I told her straight away that what she did is not good and this is not customer service. She said that she was serving the 2 guys. I told her that I saw you talking with them when I entered the store but I was already waiting on the queue when you decided to come at the back of the store on the collection desk and they were behind me waiting as I did as well. She couldn't even serve them as she needed an assistance from 2 of her colleagues. And at the end their order wasn't ready for collection on top of that. She didn't even apologise for what she did because actually I don't think she realises it. So for example if there are other people waiting on the queue and she will call the 5th person on the line and ignore the rest 4 people in front. Who has teached her customer service in this company??? I asked for her name. She said Ella. I'm writing you a disappointment review as I'll not shop from your store again. I don't like to deal with ignorant people. That's poor. This should be taken seriously my the store manager because it's not acceptable.

I had one of the worst shopping experiences ever at the Currys store on Oxford Street. The staff were completely unhelpful, uninterested, and seemed annoyed when asked basic questions. Customer service was non-existent β€” no one seemed to know what they were doing, and getting assistance took forever. Nothing in stock etc.

Lots of staff standing around. Not really any initiative shown by asking people if they need help with anything. Seems to have an ok list of items stocked. If you have time I would just order online for a better deal

On 31 Dec, 2022 around 17:00. I entered your store at Oxford Street. Two of your staff were chatting right next to the stairs, I approached them and asked if the Amazon Alexa was available. Both said β€˜we don’t know, check upstairs. I went up, I asked another salesperson whose mobile phone was in front of him and a football game was on. He said he should check the item, so stood up, took his phone with him (still the game was on), I followed him as he went to find the speaker I wanted. He found it. I asked how much it was. He said he had to check that too. With the box and his phone (the game still on), he walked across the room, where he scanned the item’s barcode. Btw, he put his mobile phone in front of him once again. He said something about an insurance or something like that. I said no. Then he asked me something about the receipt. I told him that I’d asked about the price. He said β€˜oh, yes. It is 60 something.” I thanked him and left. I hope I didn’t interrupt your employees’ chat or cause them miss a goal or something.

I had a very pleasant experience at the store today following me dropping my laptop and damaging my screen. I was supported by several members of staff in finding the best solution to work from home and was quoted a price for repair by the tech support team. They were all very supportive and patient. Thank you

I went to Currys on Oxford Street on Oct 12 to get a 55” telly and Man was incredibly helpful. He guided me through in choosing the telly that best served my needs with a good value. I ended up buying a toaster that I originally plan to get somewhere else. Would definitely re-visit the store should I look for other electronic appliances next time.
